Chapter One Seph looked at the table in front of her, sighing at the cruelty of her fate. Here she was, in the lap of luxury, draped in silk and satin, surrounded by beautiful works of art. Yet, she was more depressed than she'd ever been in her life. She’d never been away from home for this long. Her homesickness was an ache so painful it shocked her with its intensity.
