I have been blessed with both stubbornness and people in my life who are willing to call me on it.

Thank you all for your support, love, and most of all, those times where you look at me, clearly perplexed, and say, “What the heck are you doing?”

I couldn’t do any of this without you.

So many of my supporters are like me— I still love the old-school sensation of reading an physical book, even though digital is easier for so many reasons these days.

When I only had a few short stories, it wasn’t possible to make a paper option happen. But, as time has passed and I’ve written more, I have been able to gather several stories together. After a long process of review, revise, and re-edit (ad nauseam!), this book was born.

Many of these short stories have been available online in ebook format at some point, but it was important to me to have them all together to create a paperback version as well.

I hope you enjoy the stories I’ve selected. Some are very early works and were fun to revisit. Others have changed almost entirely during this revising process, but I love each and every one of them even more now than when I first dreamed them up.
