"Daddy!" Samuel greeted him eagerly as he opened the door to their house's entrance. He immediately reached out his hand to him.
He smiled. "I thought big boys don’t want to be carried by their fathers. What changed your mind?" he asked as he lifted him up.
"I don't. I just wanted to," Samuel replied, nuzzling into him.
He raised his eyebrows. "Contrasting, but it means the same," he said, tousling his hair. "What did you do while daddy is in the office?" he changed the subject, walking towards the sofa while still carrying Samuel, who remained in his arms.
