Skyler stared at the drawer on his table for a long while. Then, he took a deep breath and opened the drawer that had remained closed since Adreianne's passing. He had never dared to open it, not even once.
He sighed, slowly pulling it open until he saw a picture frame, a wooden box, and an envelope.
He picked up the picture frame and gazed at it. It was a photo of the two of them from their first meeting in Bali. The memories associated with that picture flooded back into his mind...
"Hi! Good morning," the woman beside him greeted, a waiter at the hotel.
He was in the hotel restaurant. It was a bit late, so he was having a brunch than breakfast.
"Good morning, Ma'am. Anything you want to eat?" The waiter smiled at her.
