"What are we going to do here?" Mhia asked Skyler beside her as their vehicle entered a place.
He smiled as he looked at her. "I want you to meet her."
She didn't immediately respond. She processed what she heard from him in her mind.
He parked the car first before facing her. "I'm sorry if I surprised you. But I want you to know who she was. That's why I brought you here." His eyes looked worried as they stared at her.
"A-are you sure it is fine to see her? Won't she get angry?" she asked hesitantly. She felt nervous, but she didn't know why.
That's probably normal, she thought to herself.
Skyler laughed. "Of course not! She won't get mad. She'll be angrier if I don't introduce you to her."
She took a deep breath and looked at herself. "Do I look okay? Do you think she'll like me?"
