Skyler was completely absorbed in the pile of papers spread across his long desk. He was busy studying everything. Now that he was back in his company, he needed to double his efforts. There was a lot of piled-up work waiting for him.
He heard a knock on the wooden door. “Come in!” he said. His eyes were still fixed on the folder he was reading.
The door opened, and someone stepped in quietly. Slow steps approached him. “Is there a problem, Thelma?” he asked. He was referring to his secretary.
“Son, you might get startled.”
He quickly lifted his head. A wide smile spread across his face when he saw who it was. “Uncle Tom!” He stood up and walked towards him. Without saying a word, he hugged the older man.
“Long time no see, son. How are you? Good thing you decided to come back.” Uncle
