“Katarina darling where are you?” the voice says coming out the door breathlessly upon looking at the group. “Hello Brother,” Thor says

“Let me guess you guys figured it out?” Loki says to the group knowingly

“ we think we did” Bruce says

“I’m sorry, but how the h**l are you alive? Thor said Thanos snapped your neck”

“he did, but one of Thanos’s daughters attended to me and healed me”

“Okay, where is she? did she disappear with the others?” Tony asks bluntly

“how do you think I have a daughter who’s two years old when the world has ended 5 years ago?” Loki replies to stark sarcastically

“okay you don’t need to be a smart a–!” Tony starts but is interrupted by a female voice

y/n p.o.v

“Loki, honey dinner is read—” you start to say but stop upon looking at the group

“MOMMY!! uncle Thor came!!” your daughter says excitedly running into your arms

“I see honey,” you say faking excitement

“why don’t you go play for a little bit why the grown-ups talk”

“Okay Mommy,” your daughter says running off to her room

“come here darling” Loki says to you, walking over you sit next to him on the sofa

looking at the unknown men in front of you, you ask Loki “who are these people?”

“my name is tony stark,” tony says

“you’re iron man”

“yes I am, and to get back on topic we –" tony says but is cut off by you

"you need Loki’s help with bringing everyone back,” you say smirking knowingly

“How did you know that?” Steve says

“well I have powers”

“Oh yes, I forgot to inform you all that y/n can read your minds, but also has superhuman strength, and a limited precognitive "seven sense” also she can fly.“ Loki says proudly

” umm, okay," Steve says

“Look,  Loki we need your help if you don’t wanna give an answer now, let us know tomorrow. Okay?” Thor says

the group start to get up and head out back to the compound

“tell my darling little Katarina, uncle Thor loves her very much and will see her soon,” Thor says to you and Loki

“it was nice to meet you,” Nat says to you

2 hours later

2nd  P.O.V

walking into yours and Loki’s bedroom you see Loki laying in bed reading  a novel

“Are you going with them? ” you ask “well you always said I should do better. this is better, by helping them” Loki says trying to joke

“it’s not a joke Loki, you could die or worse, I don’t know, but if you're going, I’m going,” y/n says determined

Setting down the novel Loki gets up out of bed “No you’re not going”

“excuse me, I’m not letting you risk your life,” y/n says upset

“IT DOES'NT MATTER!” Loki says loudly “ I would rather be dead, then both of us dead!!” Loki says getting teared up

“if our daughter doesn’t have both paren–” Loki says but stops getting chocked up, Calming down Loki starts again “like I said If I die she still has you to look after her.”

walking over to him you start to caress his face

“Love, I know you think, that we would be okay without you, but we wouldn’t we would be heartbroken, Katarina would probably be lost without her father, I don’t know if you know but your the backbone of this family, you teach Katarina her magic and she’s getting better day by day” y/n say “because of you” y/n say pointing at his chest.“ And then there’s me, you showed me how true love feels for the first time and gave me the most precious thing in the world to me and you, our beautiful, intelligent daughter, all of this is because of you.”

“ I still don’t think you should go, it will give me peace In mind knowing your home and safe with our daughter, please just stay here,” Loki says

“Okay, okay I’ll stay, let’s get to bed, okay?”

settling in bed Loki pulls you closer to his chest

“I love you my darling” “ I love you too.”

NEXT MORNING

You wake up to the sunlight hitting your face, you slowly reach behind you for the warmth of Loki, there is nothing there but cold sheets, getting up you start to head downstairs, not one sound, starting to head out the back door to the garden there is a knock at the door, walking to the door you open to see Thor and Tony Stark.

“Hello lady y/n”

“Hey Thor”

“So where is reindeer games,”  Tony says sarcastically while trying to look inside the house

“I don’t know, I was just about to look for him, come in,” y/n says opening the door to the pair

“I’m gonna head to the back to see if he’s there, do you guys want to come?”

“sure” Thor replies

walking to the sliding doors you slide the door open and start to descend the porch steps into the walkway to the garden area.

“wow,” Tony says amazed by the garden

“I know, Katarina designed it,” y/n says proudly

“anyways, they should be over here,” y/n says to the pair coming to a stop at an archway of flowers

“he should be down there, I’m gonna make some tea, would you guys like some?” y/n asks

“yes please” Thor responds

“Thank you,” Tony says

“Okay, I’ll be back soon,” y/n says walking off to the house

“let's go,” Tony says nudging Thor urgently

the pair walk through the multiple archways that are filled with the most beautiful flowers, coming almost to the end, they here Loki’s voice talking to someone

“Now, where is the flower?” Loki asks

“it's in uncle Thor’s pocket, who’s standing around the arch’s”

Thor turns to Tony with a shocked face

“How does she know I’m here?”

“well she is your brother's child, I wouldn’t expect any less,” Tony says not at all shocked.

“Come, brother, I know you want a decision”

Thor and Tony walk the rest of the way into the opening where Loki is seen sitting with Katarina, taking Katarina off his lap on the ground

“my little trickster, why don’t you go and play for a bit, okay?”

“Okay daddy,” Katarina says happily skipping off to the house

“Now, I’m assuming you made up your mind?” Tony asks Loki

“yes, I did ” “ so brother will we be fighting together again?”

“yes,” Loki says    

“wait, yes?” Tony says confused

“yes, I will help”

“but?” Tony says

Looking up at Tony with all seriousness “ But I need my wife and daughter concealed away, from any harm” Loki says

“Aw, look at you, loving a somewhat  mortal,” Tony says smiling sarcastically

“yes, well she is truly amazing”

“Okay,” Thor says clapping his hands together

“come by the compound tomorrow for more information”

“Okay, well I better go, I have a trickster to teach”

getting up from the bench Loki starts to walk through the walkway of arches. “oh” Loki says slightly turning to look at the pair

“She’s not a somewhat mortal,” Loki says smirking and continues walking away

“Okay,” Tony says

“let's go, I want some tea,” Thor says smiling

“Really? you don’t want a beer or something?” Tony says faking shock

“shut up,” Thor says, the pair continue walking, not seeing the female figure behind the arch listening to the entire conversation with tears coming down her face

2nd P.O.V

Hiding behind the arch with tears down your face, not believing what you heard your husband agree to, wiping the tears away you walk back to the house with the tray of tea in your hands. walking in the house from the back door  you see the three of them sitting at the kitchen table

“Oh, hello darling,” Loki says looking up at you  

“ was wondering where you were”

“Oh sorry, I guess I missed you guys when you came in,” you say with a smile that doesn’t reach your eyes, and Loki immediately notices.

“Okay, well we have to go,” Thor says noticing the tension

“no we don’t,” Tony says confused

“ yes, we do,” Thor says trying to wink

Putting both hands on Tony’s shoulders making him stand up. “ well we should be going now, it was lovely to see you y/n, brother, tell Katarina, uncle Thor loves her”

“Okay,” you say with a small smile

“Bye y/n, lovely to see you again,” Tony says jokingly bowing to you

“Bye, reindeer games,” Tony says to Loki

“Bye,” Loki says trying to hurry them out

walking out the door Thor and Tony get in their vehicle back to the compound

“Think he’s gonna show?” Tony asks

“Let's hope” Thor replies

Back inside the house, you are standing at the sink looking out the window at your daughter who’s playing with her toys on the grass

“My love, I know you’re upset,” Loki says walking up behind you

“I’m not upset, I’m confused” you reply

“what do you mean?” Loki asks

“I thought we agreed, you not going?” y/n says

“I know” Loki sighs “ But they really need my help,” Loki says

turning around, you slide your arms around his waist

“I just don’t want you to get hurt by him again,” y/n says sighing sadly, leaning your head on his chest

“I won't” Loki slowly lifts your chin up making you look into his eyes “we’re going to end him,” Loki says with all seriousness

“if you truly believe you guys can do it, I’m with you all the way,” y/n says

“Thank you darling” Loki replies

“well,” you say leaning away from him “ we should start getting s little someone ready for bed”

“Yes we shall, why don’t you get her bath ready, I’ll get her from the garden?”

“Okay” y/n leaning up to plant a kiss on his lips and walking away

looking back through the window staring at his daughter

“God help us if he doesn’t die,” Loki says sighing, starting to walk to the sliding back door.

1 HOUR LATER

Getting Katarina to bed used to be an easy task, but for some reason getting her to lay in her bed has been a huge issue tonight.

“Katarina, where are going!” you raise your voice when she jumps  out of her bed running, following behind, you see your bedroom door open, walking into your bedroom you see her laying in the middle of your and Loki’s bed, laying on the side of Loki while he reads to her

“excuse me, little miss,” you say with a stern voice “its time for bed, let's go”

“But-”

“No buts, you’ve never given us this problem before, why now darling?” you say walking to your side of the bed and laying down next to her

“I want to spend time with daddy as much as possible, in case anything happens,” she says with a slight frown

“what do you mean?” Loki asks confused

“I heard you and mommy talking about going to help uncle Thor and his friends fight a bad guy,” she says

you and Loki silently look at each other, Loki slightly clears his throat and sits up with his back leaning against the headboard

“My darling, I will be leaving, to go help uncle Thor and his friends, that is true,” Loki says slowly so she understands  "and mommy  will be with you at another house to keep you safe from any harm"

“But I won't see you, everyday daddy,” she says tearing up

“ I know, but it will only be for a few days, okay?”

“okay”

“ and I have a special task for you”

“Really!” she exclaimed excitedly

“yes, I need you to look after mommy, okay? make sure she’s okay?”

“Mission accepted daddy!!” she says saluting him

“Okay so why don’t you ask mommy if you can sleep in here tonight?”

She jumps and turns to you pleading with puppy dog eyes

“Please mommy?”

you not being able to say no “yes sweetie” you say

“yay!!!” she screams excitedly giving you a hug

“Okay, time for bed,” you say

“k mommy”

settling down, you look over and see she’s already passed out for the night

“well, looks like all the playing outside wore her out,” Loki says smirking

“I guess so”

you start to settle into bed, leaning over to turn the light out, Loki doing the same

Loki looks at you and your daughter lovingly, “I’m so happy I met you”

“I’m happy I met you too”

“And I’m so glad we made her,” Loki says tearing up “first time in a long time I’ve been happy, laying here, with both of you”

“Everything is gonna be okay,” you say reassuringly  "let's get some sleep, you need your energy for tomorrow"

“Okay, I love you”

“I love you too” you reply

Both closing your eyes, you both drift off to sleep.

NEXT MORNING

The sunlight peaks into the room by the open blinds, you open your eyes to both the middle and the other side of the bed empty, getting up slowly from the bed you start to hear giggling from the living room, you head towards the noise and find the cutest scene, Katarina is sitting on the carpet in the living room wearing a miniature version of Loki’s helmet while Loki sits in front of her with his own helmet on.

“Now, all you need is a cape,” Loki says smiling conjuring up a smaller green version of his cape.

“Now, why don’t you continue playing, while I finish breakfast,” Loki says smiling

coming out of the hallway you make your presence known, “Need some help?” you ask

“Mommy!” your daughter screams out of excitement running into your open arms

“Good morning baby,” you say smiling brightly

“Breakfast is almost done,” Loki says looking at you both lovingly

“Okay,” you say walking over to the kitchen table setting down Katarina is one of the kitchen chairs

you walk over to Loki who is cleaning some of the dishes, you walk up behind him and slip your hands around his waist

“good morning my love” he says putting the dish down and quickly drying his hands, he turns around and puts his hands on your waist

“How did you sleep?” he asks

“good, sad that you're leaving today”

“I know, but I can be of help and bring back everyone”

“look at you, being thoughtful,” you say smiling sarcastically

“hey!”

“I’m  kidding,” you say with a fond smile on your face

“I know you’re gonna do good,” you say fondly

“yeah” he replies, Loki takes a quick glance at the stove's clock “it’s almost 8, I should start heading out,” he says

“um, okay ” you reply walking off to your bedroom

“wait, where are you going?” he asks

but you continue walking, going to follow you, he stops, seeing you walk back into the room with something in your hand.
