He seeks out a safe haven, a hidden network of informants and rebels who oppose the Black Hand's rule. He hopes to expose their plans and rally support against their tyranny.

As Kiara delves deeper into the ancient library, she discovers a hidden chamber, a sanctum filled with scrolls and artifacts. She finds a journal, written in the sorcerer's hand, detailing his struggles with the talisman's power and his attempts to find a way to control it. He warns of the Shadow's influence, its insidious whispers that can corrupt even the purest of hearts.

Davies, meanwhile, makes contact with the rebels. They are a diverse group, united by their opposition to the Black Hand's rule.
