Room Mate

Chapter 4

After I woke up Jeremy, I waited for him him to go back to sleep and I went for a walk to clear my head. It's been almost 9 years since my mom died. I was only 8 when it happened. I lost everything that day. I was trying to hold back the tears. But, I couldn't. When I finally got back to the apartment it was 3 in the morning. So, I decided to get ready for school. I took a shower and when I looked in the mirror I seen all the scars the bruises that where still there. They were still killing me. But, I can't show the Pain because ether way nobody will believe me. I got dressed as fast as I could. I didn't want to see my ugly body anymore. 

        I quickly made breakfast and grabbed a little to eat and then left for school. I didn't want to see Jeremy before I left. The walk to school was quick. I went to my locker and grabbed my things and went to my first class and waited for the teacher.

  I woke up as I heard the front door close. I smelled bacon and pancakes so I went to eat. I figured Miya wanted to get to school to get the work she missed yesterday. I ate the food she made it was so delicious. I then got ready for school and then I left the apartment. As, soon as I get to school Abby just walks up to me and says she missed me yesterday. She then starts to make out with me. I push her off me. Abby was a one night stand but now she won't leave me alone. I yelled at Abby and told her to f**k off as I wasn't in the mood to deal with her nonsense today. 

 Just then my buddy Jason walks up to me and asks if we were still hanging out at my place after school. I shook my head yes and we walked to English together. I didn't know that Miya was in this class. She looked like she had been up all night. I felt bad I shouldn't have went back to sleep. Why was I thinking like this about her. There was something about her that made me want to protect her. Class was finally over. As soon as Miya got up Alex tripped her and called her a slut. Alex was on the football team. He is always a d**k to everyone. I got up and punched him in the face. It felt like something took over me when I seen Miya hurt. The teacher didn't even do anything about it. But, when she seen me punched Alex she sent me to the principles office. Jason gives me a confused look. I knew he was going to ask questions later.
