Despite my worries, transitioning our status from just friends to dating really wasn’t a huge deal. Most people didn’t give us a second glance when they found out. It definitely didn’t come as a surprise to anyone.
The Sunday after our movie date, our two families had dinner over at Jax’s house. During the meal, Jax and I announced that we had something to say, and we proceeded to tell everyone that we were now officially together.
