Johan had left from the ballroom a very early. When he had heard the news, it had saddened him. he assumed that Enrique was aware of it and he deliberately hit it from him. Instead of going into his room, he went to a secret place expecting his brother to confront him. Johan and Enrique had a playhouse in their childhood but since they had grown up, the room was usually closed. However, due to broken windows, they easily could jump inside the room. They always came here whenever they were either sad or unhappy with anything that took place in the castle. But Johan waited there for almost hours but still, Enrique did not appear. He believed Enrique would come and explain everything because, from childhood, Johan used to like Princess Sophia. But he never expressed his feelings, he prayed for the right time to come but it turned out to be a surprise for him. The girl he liked was chosen as a future bride as well as a future king for his own elder brother. Two important things came out to be shocking things at one time.
He waited for further fewer hours but when Enrique did not show up, he went to his mother's room.
Johan P.O.V
I was going back to my room but a maid came up to me and said that my mother and sister were looking for me. I was in no mood to face my mother. I was sure she would say hundreds of things and would get angry if I did not answer them properly.
It's not always the elders who are being controlled or over-protected but sometimes youngers are to endure the same tyranny of evil like elders but in a different way. I am always found to be with my brother and it's not because I wanted but I am forced to. My mother had said to follow my brother to know whatever going in his life. But the cordial brotherhood in between us has always stopped me from doing so.
I think that's the reason why I was facing all of these. My mother has always told me to be cautious on my every step and to be always alert by my heart and mind. And thus I have always followed my heart. I and Enrique had spent most of our time together. We never hide anything from each other. I shared with him everything despite my feelings towards Sophia and he too shared. But he never told about his immediate marriage and enthronement to the province of Jermain. He had always told me that he never wanted to be king but I felt whatever he had told me was a white lie.
I entered inside and found Giana was massaging.
"So this news had saddened not only me but my mother too." I sat nearby and did not utter a word until she herself say me anything.
"Giana and others can leave. I want to have an alone talk with my son" She said. I lifted her up and placed a cushion behind her back.
"So when you decided to not tell me these things?"
"Honestly I too found about this news in the ballroom only."
"So you started hiding things from me now? Is this what I taught you?"
"I swear I am not hiding anything. Everything I found out in the hall only. It is a sudden surprise and I still could not believe that Enrique had kept it hidden from me."
" He deliberately tried to keep it hidden from you so that you won't question him." I nodded my head to agree with her. And that was true of course.
"You are nodding your head? You are every time with him, how could you miss this crucial information regarding him. I do not believe that you were not aware. Now you will see very soon he will be declared as the supreme king and when he come into power, you will be the first one to throw out from here." She blurted out.
"Mother, whatever you dream about him is entirely wrong. If he had kept this as a secret, he must have his reason or it might be that crown queen Julian had warned him. Why do you hate Enrique so much?" I never had any enmity towards my brother. I had always supported and helped him because I do everything for him, my mother sometimes stood against me.
