Friends & Lovers
Wendy loves the accounting firm she has been working for after graduating from college. She is feeling well capable to handle the demands of her new job. She had only been there three months when they gave her a modest raise in pay. Her boss told her she was the best new hire he had met, and she was well equipped to advance in the firm. Wendy called her mom and dad to tell them how great things were going.
She has had to work twice as hard on her Master’s degree as the students who naturally are good at English. To make up for her poor English and spelling, she has gone online taking review classes on proper grammar and word usage.
