Alex:             Where am I? I tried to open my eyes, but it won’t open. Somehow, we manage to get back to shore. As I could feel, the world stopped spinning and I am in a dry place. “Alex! Wake up! Wake up!” I heard Edith. “Stop, I still want to sleep. Just give me another minute.” I pleaded with her. “You need to wake up now!” She was adamant. I squeezed my eyes. I was still squinting from the saltwater stuck in my face. Slowly, I could see everything around me is full of pots of every size. There were small ones and there are those as big as the base trunk of the coconut tree. I could also smell jackfruits and there is something else. “Alex, come on, I need you right now. This is not the time to be sleepy.” She was pleading for me to wake up. What is this urgency? I asked myself.
