"Mum, Josiah is usually very busy. Why are you asking him for favours?"
Lorri was so embarrassed that she kept glaring at her mother.
Lorri didn't know whether her mother did not understand her gesture or deliberately ignored her. Wendy blinked and asked, "Josiah, are you usually busy? Don't you have time to teach Lorri how to swim?"
Josiah immediately came to his senses and answered, "I don't work on weekends."
"See, I'm not being unreasonable. Josiah is free." Wendy glanced at Lorri. "You too, don't just think about your work all the time and don't just stay at home on the weekend. You should go out with Josiah sometimes."
Shawn seemed to have thought of something and asked Josiah, "By the way, I heard that you like surfing, right?"
Josiah nodded. "Yes, I like water sports."
