25. Husband and Wife

HUSBAND AND WIFE
He may not be very showy
He may not be very expressive
But he worries frequently
And cares for her tremendously.
She may have many demands
She may complain a lot
But she loves serving him well
He was and is her ideal man.
Husband and wife they are called
With beautiful children in their world
They might have minor differences
But theirs is a love that none could break.
For he loves her for Allah's sake
Every inch of flaws he accepts and takes
She is his garment just as he is hers
As decreed by Allah in a Qur'anic verse.
She is ever patient and hardworking
Willing to bear all kinds of burdens
Now that is a woman Allah commends
No wonder she truly deserves him.
Husband and wife they are called
May they stay together till they get old
Their marriage is truly a lovely sight to see
May the Grace of Allah be with them eternally.
