YA RASULULLAH (S.A.W)
My heart excites to meet you
But at the same time I feel ashame too
For you have cried and prayed for me many times in your lifetime
While I have sinned countless times.
Your life story is beyond compare
Each time I read the Seerah,
It draws me closer
Closer to repentance to Allah
More serious and firm in my fasting and salah.
Ya Rasulullah (S.A.W) I know too well how much you love your wives and daughters
But on the Hour that you will be raised back alive
To AngelsJibril and Mikail, the second thing you will ask about
is us, your Ummah.
You love us so much that after knowing that it is the Day of Judgment
You will feel very very much worried
You by Allah's Permission will intercede
Just so from the Hell - Fire, I will be saved.
On that day which is 50 thousand years long, the Day of Standing
I will feel thirsty from the heat of the Sun shining
Then I'll see your lake where I can drink
And it is said, I'll never feel another thirst.
As we all stand there, Allah does not judge us yet
And we are all feeling anxious and impatient
So we ask from Prophet to Prophet
To speak to Allah for the starting of the Judgment.
But all of them will be too afraid to do so
From Adam, Ibrahim, Musa, Isa and Nuh
All except you.
You'll bow down to Allah and praise HIM
Until HE ask you to get up from your prostration.
Then you will ask for the Judgment to start
Allah agrees but you don't leave just yet.
Because I'm part of yur Ummah, in shaa Allah.
I will be part of the people who will be judged first
But before that, Allah Azza Wajal will grant your request
To pick out 70 thousand amongst us who will no longer be weighed.
And granted easy entry to Paradise instead.
But you will then ask Allah to give you more
So Allah will say, "For every thousand, 70 thousand."
When the Judgment has passed and all over,
You still wouldn't want Paradise to enter
You would again and again ask Allah to save those part of your Ummah
Who were sinful and was thrown in Jahannam.
Ya Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)
Ya Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)
Ya Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)
No mere words, just no mere words could ever measure
How your love for me truly truly truly means so much, affects so much and inspires so much.
Will I be deserving of your intercession?
Will I be deserving to be one of the 70 thousands?
I'd like to believe that I am and that I can
Be the Muslim you'll have no problem helping.
Once the masjid cleaner has passed away
And no one ever told you about that even after she was buried
Upon noticing her absence, you asked your companions
And you felt sad for not attending her funeral, telling everyone of her significance.
Once there was a man who asked you
If how he can achieve a Paradise near to you
You inquired on how he practiced his deen
And he answered that he can only do the basic worshipping.
Then he says he loves Allah and that he loves you
So you smiled and shared to him the good news
You said to him, "You will be with whom you love,"
The man felt satisfied, left and was happier than he ever was.
At your Masjid, you use to lean on a tree
Whenever you deliver a sermon to everybody
Until one day you were given a pulpit made by a carpenter
But suddenly there was a cry that got louder and louder
It was from the tree who longed for your company.
So you hugged till it had stopped crying
Because if you have'nt, it will cry never ending
Then Allah the Most Merciful made the tree a tree found in Jannah
Where it shall bear fruits to eat for the Muslim and Muslimah.
Ya Rasul (s.a.w) I too want to be with you
Just like the simple man and the crying tree
I want to give back all the love you gave me
I want to be one of those who shall be worthy
Of your intercession and Allah's Mercy.
Which means I need to only do two things
To worship Allah without any partner or association
And to follow you as the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam).
*And Allah knows best. May we love our Prophet (s.a.w) and follow his sunnah. Ameen Ya Rabb.
