****Evony’s Pov****
"Why are you all back here?" Evony questioned, eyes widened with shock.
There in her dressing room, picking through her measly belongings stored there, were those boys. The delicious rush of power took her over again, this time though more direct, thus stronger, though this time, it did not turn her into a babbling, greedy buffoon. Hmmmm, she thought, guess Many was right. Wondering, why now, would they show up here, come to her, not to Fero. She was sure that her call worked on the others. Why not them? Her eyes narrowed in curiosity.
Her eyes softened, quickly though, upon looking at their faces, confused expressions, at least two scowling mouths, but the feeling most present in their eyes, the one that made it impossible for her to scold them further, chase them away, hell even look away, was the longing in each of their unique eyes. Once their orbs met hers, she knew without a doubt, "Your mine," she whispered so softly to herself, as though nothing was said at all, but with a conviction so strong it startled her, making her step back. While thoughts of what this all meant, the reality that everything her caregiver told her was going to come to pass, she started to shake.

**** Third Party Pov****
One of them mistook the startled look and her vibrating form as fear towards them. His heart ached seeing her that way. Turning his head to the side, he could tell that her behaviour was visibly affecting the others as well. Each with an arm across his chest heaving, gasping. He had to do or say something, anything to slow the panic rising in the room.
Putting his arms up, in a gesture letting her know he came in peace, approaching her slowly, carefully, as one would a wounded animal, "Hey, hey we aren't here to hurt you," attempting to make himself smaller than physically possible,,, however at only eleven years old he was already five four and still going, compared to her maybe four nine cherub stoutness. "Listen, we all just felt like we needed to be here I promise it was like a call, we promise we won't hurt you, it's just...." pausing because he knows he sounds crazy, but dammit he grew up in a boys home, all his life he never had to be gentle and believes what really lead him to her was an illusion, but he knew defusing the situation was definitely the priority, also knew those other guys weren't going to help.
He's the oldest at his shelter and knows that, deer caught in the headlights look, no assistance will be rendered. Hopeless cases, he thought to himself.
"Look, this is going to sound crazy, but the air led me to you alright, it danced all around and then drew a straight line, calling me to you," he pressed on, saying it softly, cursing himself silently for sounding like a nut job.

Shaking her head as to clear it, finally realising that she was affecting them quite negatively and didn't want this to be the highlight of their first meeting, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, I swear I'm not afraid of you, I just, I… I… I… I…., wasn't expecting you...," trailing off, fisting the sides of her dress.
No longer sure of anything at that moment, as this was not her expectation for today. This was the single most exciting, frustrating and scary moment in her life and not only has Many abandoned her, but she was sure this moment right now, the decisions that will be made, would affect all their futures.
Questioning herself, should I tell them? They look barely older than me. I wish I could run and play, learn regular things at school, like any other child my age. Instead, I'm forced to learn history and rules for another land. Prepare for a battle and to rule once it is over. How can I do this to them? Maybe there's another way, maybe I could let them have this time just for now. Maybe, if they have the chance to live normally, for just a while longer, they won't resent the sacrifices they will have to make later on.
Looking into their eyes, knowing that she had made the decision to be apart from them a while longer, she took mental images of their childish yet handsome faces. Their eyes, she thought to herself........
Those eyes would be the death of me.
Her eyes flicked to the left, seeing the most delicate fingers, about to touch her, and knew she couldn't let it happen or else she may not have the strength to let them go, to be selfless and become selfish, because she was told she needed them, the way she would need water when parched, food when hungry, more than the very air she breathes and was scared what that touch could mean for them as well. So she stepped back, and commanded the attention in the room as she was taught. Reciting in her mind, I am a queen, I am your queen and I will do what I think is best for you.
"I know you all have questions," gliding her eyes at each other of them, never lingering for too long on one, afraid her resolve will c***k, "They cannot be answered now. I must seek counsel.." stopping short to give a stern look to the one who thought he could control the situation earlier, when she saw him open his mouth as to interrupt her, "You are very special people, more so than others, you have the blood in your veins that lived, longer than history has been recorded." She knows now that she is giving them the speech, a speech she hates, but it is effective, their startled faces told her so.
"We do not have the time for details, but know this, you have to meet me here, on the day I turn eighteen. I am quite famous. It is not a secret. You will know and you will have a direct line leading you to me," she finished her command, feeling quite pleased with herself, thinking she had saved them for a few more years.
Looking at them she saw sadness and wanted to comfort them, so she continued, gently and sweetly as she could, as though she were singing, "I do, hope time passes you well. I will think of each of you every day, but we have to meet later on, not now, I promise this,” her voice breaking slightly at the end.
She turned her head to the side, tilting so that her hair would hide the rebellious tear that refused to be pushed back. Fighting back tears was something she mastered with her training. Fero always told her that crying was important, as well as knowing when it can be done, so as you’re not vulnerable in your weakened state. She masterfully swiped the errant tear while pretending to fix her hair in place. Facing the boys, her ever afters, unbeknownst to them, internally battling her instincts and impulses that kept telling her to go to them, she plastered on a smile, so as to hide the pain.
“Please you have to go now, before my manager comes back. He doesn’t take too kindly to strangers in my personal space. I never want you all in trouble because of me,” she attempted to plead, but in truth her underlying hope was more like for them to stay and never leave again.
**** Connor’s Pov ****
Connor knew he felt this connection, telling him not to go and countered, “We haven’t done anything, but follow our element to you and you seem to be quite unsurprised of this fact. Also, your promise proves that you’re knowledgeable of a great many things. Why not just inform us and so, that this won’t be a failure to those of us with better things to do, yeah?”
He knew she was just a little girl, but the way she spoke with authority and believed she could worm her way out with a few sweet words, irked him. Mostly, it was that if he let her continue on, in that way, he was sure he would oblige and happily, which annoyed him further. While preparing for verbal battle with the munchkin, he felt a nudge on his side. Focussing his attention on a pliable looking Addanon, he knew the mouthy jock was already twisted around her little finger. Lost cause, sigh.

Well then this one bites, she admitted to herself.
“I am merely advising you that right now, this….” gesturing between all of them, “this meeting should not be happening.”
“Hate to break to uh, tanned Cinderella, but it is. Plus, the moment you appeared from behind those curtains, this flame was dancing on my shoulder. Now I don’t know about these guys, but I looked like an i***t hitting myself thinking I could put it out before I realised it was trying to guide me. Guide me to you. Got that princess. So if you would kindly stop bu//sh!t!ng us, and give us some reasonable, I repeat REASONABLE, explanations for this phenomenon, then we will all be on our merry way. Wait! Also, info’ on that out of body situation from earlier is needed as well. ‘Cause I promised myself I will never do drugs after watching my ma’ and her boyfriend shoot up, so if it has anything to do with that, I will personally f0ck up anyone else involved, not you. The fire mentioned I could never harm you, not that I would want to,” the quiet Goth-styled young male interrupted me with what I can only describe as pent-up frustration due to all the new sensations and energies he felt.
**** Brennon’s Pov ****
Pretty much everyone was staring at me now. I know I’m not chatty but geez. They were all tip toeing around the necessary, playing I am above you. I don’t have time for these privileged snob-like conversations.
Messing around with Addanon, was so not me, but it helped lift some of the strain and worry over what was happening to me. To us I guess, but now she is right here in front of us and I want answers, dammit!
“Fine since you lot insist.” Finally answering me. She took her time though. Gathering her dress, stepping into the room which for some reason felt a bit cramped now that she closed the doors. Then, for the third weirdest moment of my life today, she asked, “Who is air?” stretching out her hand like she wanted to give someone a high five, “Place your palm near mine, do not touch me, just let it hover,” Huh, so it wasn’t just me she didn’t want to touch.
I saw Devion step forward following her instructions, and then, for some reason, we could see it. An invisible type like shield, but we could see it manifest around the door frame sealing it off.
“Wicked…………” gasped Addanon. Indeed, I agreed in my heart.
“Yes indeed it is. I have never been able to do that before without getting extremely tired. Quite a shock how easy it was with him. Imagine what I could do with the rest of you,” she chirped.
That did not sound good to me and I voiced my opinion. “Urrrggghhh, burn down fields and cause famine, ‘cause as far as I know fire destroys. Yuh’ know cave man style, Fire Baddddd!!!!!!” I dramatized. In turn, making her laugh. It was like bells chiming, and surprisingly not irritating.
“Your mortal upbringing has made you short-sighted and your imagination limited.” She scoffed afterwards. So much for angel-like.
“Now to the matter at hand. Each of you represent an element, like a natural manifestation of the earth’s core. We all have cores. Our people, so to speak. We are not mortals, but we do have an expiry date. That is all I can say for now, without disrupting cosmic order. Not trying to bu//sh!t you,” she stressed while looking pointedly at me. Then continued, “You are amongst some of the highest ranks of our kind, as you have the ability to manipulate these elements. Communicate with them, to an extent, you are them. Now the floating, that is my fault. I have the power of mind. I felt you when you entered one by one, but with all of you in here at the same time, you shocked me. I have a spiritual realm of sorts. I unknowingly dragged you in there while attempting to get a better look at you. It was not planned,” she assured, sounding sincere at the last part. “However,” drawing my reeling mind back to her as she warned, “You are too young for access just yet. Thus, my hope that you will heed me and leave. Come back when it is time. You must understand parting from you is hard but necessary.”
**** Addanon’s Pov *****
“Your joking right,” I blurted, not really believing what I’m hearing right now. “You’re going to stand there and tell us we have other identities, other lives to live, later on, not now. Yet, here we are. Why are you not taking us now?” I questioned with a desperation so clear.
Bren came from what I can gather to be a cr@ckh0use, why isn’t he begging to stay like I was?
She looked completely torn when she responded, slightly looking down, “I must travel now, visit other cities and countries. To find our people who have been scattered and misplaced for the past five generations, we have not been together. I cannot take you with me. I am sorry. I will complete my tasks. I will come to you here on May nineteenth, seven years from now, and take you to learn everything. To be with us all. To be with me.” She stopped, looking as though she was struggling, though I don’t know with what exactly, “Forgive me. I am truly exhausted now. This is taking a toll on me…… I ……… I have been using my powers since you all arrived and I….” her voice sounded shattered, Sniff, “I would like some rest now,” she finished quietly.
That was it. I knew then that she was emotional about having just met us but, had to say, see you later, in the same minute. Us, badgering her was not going to help. She clearly had her mind made up about turning us away, no matter how painful it was for her.
Well crap!
**** Devion’s Pov ****
“Fine. We will. Is there a possibility that we can at least keep in touch? Maybe write to you?” I inquired. It was clear her pushing us away hurt. It definitely hurts us. Can anything in my life be easy?
“I’m sorry. I don’t want you spending whatever free time you have left in your current lives dwelling on me. Please move forward, enjoy it, accomplish some of your dreams, so that we may have many stories to share once reunited,” her sweet voice sounded sorrowful to my ear.
“Okay then Cinderella, I got yuh’,” I announced.
Grabbing onto Cannon, before he could spout another one of his condescending retorts, I’m sure, he was cooking up, with a whiny flower boy, I called out to the psycho to follow us. I knew I could break the seal, the same way I knew how to follow the swirl and I did. The moment I placed my hand on the doorknob, it drifted away.
Turning my head, to check if Bren was following, I saw something that nearly made me topple over. Bren staring at her like his life depended on one last look. A sadness behind those dead-to-the-world eyes of his, that clearly affected her because she began to weep. He seemed like he wanted to comfort her but didn’t know how and then decided against it.
He whispered, “See later gator’,” and she smiled a watery soppy one, no less charming than her brilliant one, but so completely different, replying, “In a while crocodile.”
With one last profound look at her, Bren walked towards us, helping me drag Addanon, who wouldn’t stop asking if she would reply if he did in fact write………
We walked away, knowing it was what she wanted, causing heartache, but knowing it was not the right thing to do……………
