*** Evony's Pov *** ** During Battle ** Locked in my own body, great! Looking around at the destruction and chaos, wishing that I wasn't only with them in spirit. How could Many do this to me? Have they not suffered enough!? I screamed and questioned, receiving no answer. I knew the urgency I felt to bond with Bren and Dev was odd. I couldn't explain it. My entire being called out to be one with them and I couldn't think of anything else. I have no regrets, enjoyed every moment of it and I know there will be many more times, with them, as well as Cannon. But watching from behind the scenes? Like some helpless princess, while one of mine is unconscious and the other is barely holding onto his sanity. How could I not help them? I know my body was stuck on the Plaine, but there must be something I could do? Dammit the portal is taking forever to form. I hope I didn't scare or turn off either of my lovers when they woke up to that white-eyed statue. I had just made love for the first time. How unattractive could one look like that? My internal vanity battle was cut short when I felt the portal complete, and Fero led the guys through. I watched Bren pour the darkest thoughts and anger out of him, attempting to bury the ancient one and ward off any incoming threats. To Fero's credit, how he manipulated one so old and trained, I would never understand. My attention drifted to Devion, attempting to get Can's attention. Cannon was checking out mentally, worried about Addanon and, I suspect, fearing for his father. It made him distracted. How could I help? I then heard as though the wind whispered, "Comfort him..." Of course why didn't I think of that? Oh right, because I don't have a body! "Foolish child, use your connection, use the tap he has to you..." the voice mocked. Well, you don't have to be snippy about it! Concentrating on the line that could lead me to him, I found myself no longer hovering but in front of Cannon. I reached out my hand, wishing to smooth away the creases that marred his normally perfect face, and he shivered. Oh he felt me! I whispered to him, "It's okay my Lake, your brothers are here. Let down your guard." At first he hesitated a little, then did as told. A lot of TLC for you my love. Watching Devion carefully send the "presents" through, and the struggle he had with sending Addy away without being sure of the state he was in, made my heart ache. My sweet gentle giant, I am with you. I stuck around and saw the Melody Eddie referred to. Evasive creature, and as much as I wished to be angry with her for abandoning my untethered Earth Elemental, I wasn't. She was no match for the forces, nor the dark guardian. Furthermore, the Fatum that were sent over, two of them are matured, and in their frantic state could have harmed her greatly. While I was trying to listen in on the conversation, I felt my senses returning to me. Sort of like a leaky faucet. One drip at a time, and just as annoying. My toes were first and at the rate it was dripping, my brain may not be mine for days, or at least so I thought. The moment Devion stepped into the portal, I felt sensations readying to explode, followed by the entry of Brennon and Cannon , together, making me wonder, Was this feeling better than the numerous orgasms I had throughout the day? ........................................................................................................................................................................................................ ** Return to the Plaine ** The vacuum-like feeling of being given control over my own physical form, made me slightly disoriented and quite nauseous. However, my instincts were sharp and my heart knew exactly what actions to take, once my cognitive skills were at full capacity. "Cough!" I breathed in as though I had been suffocating, realizing that the trance-like state deprived my body of all natural functions. "Ooowww..." I groaned, cursing my idiocy of wanting to feel the loss of my virtue by not healing myself. Now I have to tend to everyone with a sore pu$sy! Well, at least I had on my robe after we showered and slept in it, otherwise I would have met everyone in the nude. No matter how romantic and touching my notion was earlier, it was only a hindrance now, so I healed myself and hugged Cannon, giving him an eager, hard-pressed kiss, reviving him in the process. He seemed to have the same reaction to my closeness as Devion did right after my passionate love-making with Bren. Giving him a look that promised later, I moved to my reluctant disobedient Elemental. Despite Addy's faults, he was a true protector. Feeling extremely proud of him, even in this condition, he was in a dire situation, he protected the child. Oh my Rock, let's get you healed. "Listen here freaky chick, I don't know any of you, I want Creed and you send us back home.." came a strong, yet frightened undertone demand from the Red head, my Storm sent over. Some residue from the power must have still been present because when I opened my mouth I sounded nothing like myself, "If you value your and your friends' lives, you will honor your queen and show respect." It boomed, forcing all but Mine, to their knees. Even the unconscious seedling in Addanon's arms woke up startled, but head bowed. "I.... I am trying to heal my Elemental and I wish to be alone," I said to Fero, regaining my melodious voice, though not completely, as I was slightly hoarse. "Yes, my queen. I will take you all to the greeneries. We have some wonderful healers here," Fero said to the strangers in my room. Lifting the youngest from where he laid, under Addy, bowing one last time, he left with the sullen bunch. "Ev..." Devion called out. I shook my head, letting him know I was alright and wasn't in need of his comfort at the moment. He could most likely sense how upset I was for using my queen's command that way. Brennon as well, I'm sure, but his own brooding had him distracted. "Get Addanon on the bed, please..." I requested, making sure to control my decibels. Devion used his element and easily floated Addy into position. Brennon, for some reason, stood up immediately and muttered, "Excuse me...." exiting the room. Cannon was about to go after him. I stopped him with a sign from my hand. I had never been scared to use my words before. The idea that the first impression I made on the new Fatum, the people who saved Addy's life and sacrificed so many of their comrades while doing so, was awful. They deserved better. I felt utterly disgusted that I had no control over my reaction. She was clearly scared out of her mind and was only worried for her and her friends' safety. As I gently peeled away the materials still melted into his skin, I wondered how I could not only make amends for my behavior, but to thank them. A knock at the door sounded, then in slid Brennon, only to open it wider. In walked various Fatum, with materials. Not being able to read his mind or understand his actions, I raised a questioning eyebrow. All he did was blow me a kiss and wink. I decided to ignore what was happening around me and concentrated on splitting apart Addy's flesh to remove the foreign materials, to properly heal him. Cleaning his back, brought forward so much rage and sadness, I had to stop halfway through and recenter myself, through meditation. My Storm, sat beside me and whispered to me, "You are not alone, Fairy. We feel it as well. He will get him together, that is a promise." Ending it with a kiss on my temple, giving me the strength and courage to continue my ministrations. I felt as though this was my pennance. Fate may not have been cruel to me, by taking one of them from me, but she made it so that I had to watch them suffer, over and over again, due to their lack of training. I would have had time to grow up with them, do our training together. Not having to endure power surges that lit up my brain and nervous system, as I would have gotten used to it and be able to control it by now. Not having to use $ex, my virginity, as a booster, to get stronger. A small part of me wanted to call myself a dirty user. While they assumed we'd shared an intimate moment, Fate used it as a means to an end. No. No, I will not let that moment. That perfect moment be tainted by that. I wanted Brennon since we first met. Devion's gentleness and kindness overwhelmed me, so much so, I always thought the only way I could express what he made me feel, was through the joining of our bodies. Plus, the rescue mission is over and I want Cannon, just as much as I did before he left. Those feelings belong to us. Not Fate. At the end of that thought, I confirmed that I had peeled all that needed to be gone, away. Reached for his core, expecting a tug of war as usual, only to be met with what can only be described as an open window. This made me tear up, because for the first time since we'd met again, I felt Addanon accept me. It may not be his thoughts, nor his heart, romantically that is, but he no longer caged his core from me. "Sprite, you okay?" I heard Cannon ask, to which I answered, "I promise they are happy tears, I will explain later." I slowly healed the slighter singular burns from the outer perimeter, to work my way to his center. Feeling his skin stitching back together at my behest, made me blame myself even more. I could have informed him of the importance of a bond. Why do you wait for him to come to you? How could a proud guy like him submit to you, just because he was told to do it? "Angel, your projecting your thoughts...." Brennon informed. I opened my eyes and, sure enough, they were returning to their bodies, which looked to be in a sort of stasis. "I'm sorry, the power hasn't settled yet," I apologised. "Don't worry about that, Evony. None of this is your fault. NO BUTS! Everything happened for a reason. Addanon is as stubborn as a mule. Tell him to go right, he doesn't care what the left holds, he tries it out anyway. Don't beat yourself up over this," Devion tried to cheer me up. "Also, Sprite, how could you possibly believe that Addy's path from Josie's wasn't a design by Fate. The people who he met up with had been fending for themselves. His actions brought them home, to a community that could support them. They are finally with you. Don't start, that was clearly a mistake. I am sure you will be more than sincere in your apologies tomorrow. Are you finished with Addanon?" Cannon asked, making me look at him. I wanted to say yes. It was on the tip of my tongue, but all that was heard, was an embarrassingly long moan. "Mmmmhhhmmmmm," sounding out as I licked my lips. More like giving them a bath. Which was what he took. In my room, Cannon was now wearing a towel hanging on his narrow hips, showing off his Greek-God-like physique. His hair was still dripping, forming little water trails that danced across the obstacle course that was his thorax. He smirked, "Is that a yes?" His teasing question broke the lustful trance I was in and allowed me to peel my eyes away from the tempting view. "Almost," I answered, sounding breathy. "Cannon behave," chided Bren, as he climbed up next to me, kissing my cheek and asking gently, "Angel, is he going to take a while to wake up?" "I believe so," I answered, swallowing a sob. "Hey, we're going to be here with you. We're not going anywhere," he reassured me. Looking around, I noticed the furniture added to my room. Three padded cots, one on each side and at the bottom of the bed. My smile grew, as I saw the mischievous twinkle in his eyes as he said, "We'll take turns." Making a heat build up below only to douse it with, "Watching Addanon. We all need our rest." I pouted, letting him know his teasing worked and he smiled, pecking my lips. I sighed as I saw Cannon was now dressed in shorts and a t-shirt. No eye candy for me.
