Amber's POV
“I can't believe we're finally out in public," I tell Sophie, “This is actually more fun than I thought it would be!"
“Should I be offended by that observation," Sophie asks me, but I know she is kidding, “I think I'm a pretty fun person to hang around with!"
I'm glad that I took Levi's advice. Sophie and I haven't been able to go out and have fun together in a long time. And with Diego backing us up, this is definitely the safest way to do that. It seems silly now that I was so worried. My husband is home with the twins, and our house is a fortress. My babies are safe, I am safe, and the threat has passed. The mall seems like a great place to get used to being in public again.
