Chapter 22
Tuck stopped Sonya as she exited the TV room.
“This is going too far,” she said. “We weren’t going to do all that! Killing her is one thing. There are three more people involved now! What are you doing?”
Sonya turned to her and searched her eyes.
“Didn’t you see her eyes?” Sonya asked. “She’s scared shitless. She’d do anything we ask.”
“But…all those other people,” Tuck began, “Why bring them into this? Why’d you kill Dr. Thomason?”
“That was for Julius,” Sonya explained in a matter-of-fact manner. “She ruined his life just the way Andrews ruined ours.”
