RYAN’S POV
I knew that I was done when Brody said that he didn’t care about me. Maybe Alex was right. Brody was going to hurt my feelings over and over again. He actually didn’t care about me. He didn’t care about my feelings and this was taking a toll on me.
I needed to leave. I needed to walk away from this toxic relationship. This is never going to work out. I could feel it in my bones.
“I quit,” I told him boldly but he didn’t speak for the next couple of seconds. I could read his facial expression though. He was shocked.
