After what only felt like a couple of months, Anubis declared that it was time for Chione to go back to her mother.
"But father, is it safe?" she asked more as an obligation than out of curiosity. He nodded.
"They are long past your time, the pharaoh does not exist anymore, his grandchild has become a great ruler. Their memory of you is gone. Everything is good."
