The Happiest Bride

Chapter 1

S O F I A

"I'm so excited sweetheart! Will you take me for scuba diving?" I asked the man whom was beside me typing furiously in his laptop. After our wedding ceremony a week ago, Mama (Zander's mother) decided to treat us for a honeymoon in Maldives. Zander wanted to say something but I told him that Mama might get suspicious. So he just sighed and went along with it.

"Stop calling me sweetheart, I still don't forgive you for what you did at the wedding." He said and continued typing in his laptop.

"At least I made it look like it was so real!" I pouted but then a brilliant idea came in my mind. "What about this sweetheart, if you don't want to go for scuba diving we can go to-"

"Stop talking will you? Were going to Aarah Island, Mama rented it for the whole two weeks for us so just be thankful and shut up. I'm doing my work here!" I furrowed my eyebrows and shut his laptop which I accidentally squeezed his fingers. He groaned in pain and pulled his fingers. I suddenly felt scared and stand up of course still with his laptop.

He glanced at me then, sighed.

"Fine, go scuba diving or snorkeling for all I care." Then he grabbed his laptop and entered a room at the back of the plane. I smiled and followed him. Of course, I wouldn't give him the satisfaction that he thought I would stop.

I entered the room and immediately heard his groan. "You're driving me insane woman!" I smiled foolishly and sat beside him then laid my head in his lap as he do work in his laptop. I guess I'm not surprised that he has laptops wherever he goes.

"Get off!" He said, I ignored him and snuggled more. "Stay that way, don't blame me if you get a stiff neck." He mumbled and continued to type in his laptop. I nodded as I felt my eye lids slowly dropping, I yawned and went to sleep.

"She seriously slept in my lap." I whispered and shut my laptop then looked at her. I pursed my lips together and laid her in the bed. I took a pillow and put it under her head. I stared at her as she slept peacefully without a care in the world. I traced her lips with my thumb, they looked so erm... delicious?

The last time we kissed was at the ceremony, I can still remember what she did.

"I'm now Mrs. Sofia Collins!"

I stared at her with horror in my face, the priest laughed and told her that we still haven't exchanged rings. Which resulted the crowd to laugh at us.

"Of course, where are the rings?" My soon to be wife asked, they handed it to her. She handed me her ring. I took her left hand and slipped the band. She smiled so wide that it's possible that her jaw might break.

She slipped my ring in my left hand and pulled me in for another kiss which is why the crowd was so noisy again.

I gently pressed my lips against hers and intently looked at her, she's beautiful. But I would never admit that to her since she would never stop teasing me.

"Goodmorning Maldives!" I shouted after our private jet landed, whew! What a long flight it is huh!

"It's 12pm already." Said a cold voice beside me, I smiled up at him and pulled him to the car which I saw where our luggage was put to. "The car will drive us to the yacht then we'll go at Aarah Island just the two of us." My heart beat fastened. Oh my god, will something happen? 

I nodded unable to speak.

As the chauffeur drove, Zander was busy talking to someone on the phone about business. I immediately took his phone and ended the call. He scowled at me and tried to take his phone but I immediately slipped it inside my bra and looked at him, silently daring him to take it.

"I was talking to someone important, sweetheart." He gritted the word sweetheart between his teeth. I smiled and scooted myself to him and laid my head in his chest and smiled.

"More important that your lovely wife Mr. Collins?" I teased and closed my eyes as I cherish the moment that my head is laid in his chest. He sighed in defeat which made me smile triumphantly. A ring suddenly caught the both of us off. He immediately pushed me away and told me to give his phone back.

I shaked my head and smiled when I learned that someone was calling me. I fished my phone out to see it was mine, and boy I was right.

"Nico!" I answered gleefully, he's my childhood friend.

"How are you-" he didn't get to finish his sentence when Zander suddenly grabbed my phone and ended the call. I gasped and tried taking it from him.

"Give it back!" I tried reaching for it but using his one hand he held both of my hands and the other hand slipped my phone in his trousers.

"I just did what you did sweetheart." He smirked and crossed his arms. "So are you gonna go and get it?" I nodded which resulted that his eyes went so wide. I stretched my hand out to grasp the front of his trousers when he suddenly grabbed my wrist.

"Don't dare me Sofia, because I'll gladly take my phone also." After he said, his eyes glanced at my breasts which made me blush and withdraw my hand back then looked away.

"Sir, we are already here." Zander just nodded and ordered him to carry our luggage to the yacht. I stepped out of the car and like an excited child. I ran where I saw the yacht was. Never have I ever rode a yacht like this! It was screaming money and luxury.

"Stop acting like a child." He firmly said before slipping his sunglasses on and climbed in the yacht. I pouted and immediately followed, I think I'll slip my sunglasses later. I followed him and soon after he instructed rules to the driver. It was now just the two of us in his yacht. My heart was beating so fast, I don't know if it's because of excitement or nervousness.

I stared at my reflection then applied powder then a small layer of lipstick. I dabbed a perfume on myself and stared at myself. Zander was upstairs, driving this yacht. I combed my hair and pushed my breasts up, I rubbed my lips together and finally walked out.

"Hi sweetheart!" I greeted and stood behind him then hugged him. He immediately took my hands off of his waist. I pouted and wrapped my arms around his hips again and laid my head on his back. "Don't be so cold sweetheart." I mumbled and snuggled deeper in his back.

"So what are we doing at Aarah Island sweetheart?" I released him and went to stand beside him. He ignored me and kept steering the wheel, I pouted and immediately grabbed the wheel and started turning it to from left to right.

"Stop it Sofia! Are you trying to get us killed?!" Once he got a hold of the wheel he glared at me.

"You're not paying attention to me sweetheart." I said and looked up at him. He sighed and looked straight ahead.

"Just as what you said, snorkeling or scuba diving. We have equipment here, and if we need something we'll just head back again to the main island." He spoke without looking at me.

I beamed, "Will you make our honeymoon trip unforgettable sweetheart?" I asked and looked up at him. He sighed and shrugged, I smiled. That was already enough for me.

"If you need anything from your wife, dear husband. I'll be just down the deck!" I said and immediately grabbed his face then kissed him before running away.
