"I ate too fast." She cleaned her mouth with a disposable napkin he had provided from his car.
"You look like you're about to puke again." He lifted her jaw, analyzing the red specks that had formed on her cheeks. Thick veins met at the center of her eyes.
The girl squeezed his waist and lowered her forehead on his clavicle. She felt safe and she could take on any challenges. Before she talked to him about a possible pregnancy, she wanted to confirm her suspicions.
"I should go before my head spins faster. I wish I could lie beside you all night."
