LUNA’S POV
Arlo grabs me from the dock and begins to haul me away, but I can’t help thinking that not only do I see someone, but that I know them, that they are mine. I dodge and twist from Arlo’s arms and as he’s not expecting it, I break free. I stumble to the ground of the dock, reaching my arm across the water as this person is closer than ever. They reach out barely making contact with my fingers as her eyes go wide. I’m scooped back into Arlo’s arms when she calls out in a frantic voice.
“Nixie?!” I don’t even have to tell the guys to stop as we all freeze. Isla, passes out at the talking water creature and Atlas scoops her up bridal style holding her protectively against his body. “Nixie Raine?” The woman has her forearms up on the dock now and I nudge Arlo to put me down.
