ARLO’S POV
I listen to Luna’s grandmother talk about her as if she was a commodity and not an actual person and Luna has tears streaming down her face. I can’t imagine how hard this must be for her and Flint is howling to kill the fae. Her grandfather sits in silence for a few minutes once Glacia finishes her story and then slams his fist on the makeshift table and yells at Glacis causing everyone to jump into offensive stances around the people they are with. Even Isla takes a step forward to protect Luna and that surprises me. Isla has enough information to understand she doesn’t stand a chance against these people, yet she doesn’t hesitate.
