Arlo and I have gotten much closer and are able to talk about our bond without anger. He still is not up for sharing a mate, but I see that as progress. There has never been any anger or hatred from him, he knows this is neither of our “fault”, but he definitely wasn’t open to discussing anything with me at first. It took him almost a week and I finally got him to open up about his first kiss ever, with Luna. I explained to him that if it was separate mates he’d share these milestones with me and that just because it’s Luna should stop us from continuing to be the best friends we’ve always been. Ezra has really stepped up at the pack allowing us to be there for Luna even so many miles apart as we have been these last few weeks.
