Lilian's POV
During class those twins kept trying to talk to me but they didn't dare touch me.
Which was kinda funny ngl. (a/n: ngl means not gonna lie.)
I ignored them which was very hard to do, when they kept staring at me with no intent to hide it and that bald headed teacher didn't do anything, but when I say one letter, she always gets on my ass.
It's just three minutes left and I've never been so anxious in my life to get out of class. Time is moving so f*****g slow, it feels like I've been here for 40 years.
"Wow, not one word since we sat here,"
"Except for the part where she called us sons of bitches,"
They both agreed and I rolled my eyes.
"Hey, she rolled her eyes. At least we know she can hear us,"
Okay I'm done.
''human just 2 minutes left. Don't say a word.''
'thanks Roxy and why do you always call me human.'
"Aren't you a human?"
'I'm a werewolf.'
"Without me, you would be human so suck it up."
I hate when she's right,
"I'm always right sweetie."
'I don't know which is more annoying. You or these twins.'
"I'm offended," said Roxy,
'suck it up.'
She practically stocked her tongue out at me and I smiled.
As I was arguing with my wolf, I felt someone slam their hands in front of me.
I snapped out of my thoughts and saw Miss Carmen.
"Daydreaming in my class, are we, Miss Rodriguez?"
"What does it look like?"
"are you talking back?"
"That's how a conversation works,"
"And you're still talking back."
"Didn't you ask me a question?"
"Don't try to get smart with me,"
"I thought we went to school to get smart and even correct the dumb teachers,"
"Are you calling me dumb?"
"I never said you but you can use yourself as an example."
The whole class went 'ooh' and I sighed in content.
"Detention after school Ms Rodriguez."
"FOR WHAT!!"
"Ms Carmen I thin-"
Santiago was about to say something but I cut him off.
"I don't need you to speak up for me."
He rolled his eyes and kept quiet.
"You don't accept help when you need it. If he actually spoke up for you, I would've forgiven you."
"If you actually shaved that mustache, maybe your mate wouldn't have ran away."
I could hear gasps from everyone in the class.
"DETENTION 2 DAYS!!"
"Yah whatever."
Why haven't the bell rang yet. I'm hungry. What are they guys doing-
"MS RODRIGUEZ."
I looked back at her and saw that her face is red with anger.
"You're daydreaming again. If you actually paid attention, then you wouldn't be failing this class."
"If you actually made your lessons less boring, then I wouldn't be daydreaming."
The bell finally rang and I sprung up from my seat and dashed for the door.
"Ms Rodriguez, detention 3 days."
I stopped and looked back at her.
"Ms Carmen, would you want to see my face for 3 extra days?"
She seems to be considering and nodded Minecraft block head,
"You're right. Get lost."
I nodded and zoomed off before she changed her mind.
Gab caught up to me and started laughing her ass off.
"You are a b***h. I swear to God."
"What can I say. I learned from the best."
She did a little now and I laughed.
Someone grabbed me by my waist and pulled me back,
"What's so funny?" I immediately recognized the cute deep voice as Matteo's.
"Your mate just roasted the hell out of our teacher to her face and got away with it."
"Oh so you've been a bad girl," His voice got deeper as he whispered in my ears and I felt my face grow hot.
"You know I have wolf hearing but okay," Gab awkwardly said and I hear Matteo laugh.
Due to us moving into the Lycan blood moon pack, we spent a lot of time together and the twins were no more hostile towards Gab. Turns out they had a lot of things in common and I became super jealous.
It took three rounds for me to stop being mad. (if you know what I mean, smirking.) and Gab teased me about that for a long time.
They treat her like a second sister and I treat Victor (her mate) like my brother so we're all one big family.
"Earth to Lilian," I snap out of my thoughts and look at Gab making her shake her head.
"I hate that teacher but she's right. You really need to stop daydreaming."
"I'm not daydreaming. I'm just thinking."
"Mmhmm,"
We all went to my locker and continued talking,
"Why do you hate the teacher?" asked Matteo.
I looked at Gab and she gave me a "tell him" look.
I sighed and looked at him,
"She changed my seat and made me sit with those annoying twins."
Matteo's face turns cold and a low growl escaped his lips.
"Don't worry. I'm fine. They didn't touch me or anything."
"Let's go." he grabbed my hand and led me down the halls.
"To where?"
"Change your seats. I'm not gonna take that."
"Matteo, I wanna switch seats too, but I'm kinda in a bad terms with her."
He ignored me and continued walking.
"I guess I'm going to my next class now." I waved back at Gab and she left.
Matteo led me back to that class which was empty except the teacher.
She was crying and holding a picture of man which I assume is her mate.
My heart started to ache as I saw her cause I said some s**t about her mate which I now regret.
As soon as she saw us, she wiped her tears and stood up.
"Ms Rodriguez, what are you doing here. Go to your next class."
"Matteo can you wait for me outside?"
He nodded and I shut the door.
I went over to her and put my head down in embarrassment.
I started to think of all the things my parents have taught me and I sighed.
"I'm sorry for disrupting your class and being disrespectful. It's just that you don't treat me right. Your always on my ass, every tiny thing I do, you get mad, and it's just too much."
She sighed and sat down,
"I treat like that because I have high expectations for you, Ms Rodriguez, and today, you really disappointed me."
"I'm sorry,"
"It's okay. Just don't let it happen again."
I nodded and was about to leave but remembered the reason why I came here
"Oh and can I go back to my regular seat please?"
"Why?"
"Cause those twins keep disturbing me and I can't concentrate."
"I wanted you to help them. Although you were rude today, you're one of my brightest students."
"Why do you favour them so much?"
She smiles and stands up,
"Cause I know their mother personally and I know where she is."
