Lilian's POV
Just seeing her smiling here is making me annoyed. She's acting like nothing ever happened and that I should just forgive her.
Not to talk about her strange appearance in my dream.
"Lilian...I am so so sorry for what I did before. Trying to steal your mates when the moon goddess assigned them to you is wrong and I took some time off to reflect on my actions and I promise you that I have changed."
She says with real sadness in her eyes but I know better than that. This is acting.
"Rosa, I don't care about your apology. All I ask is that you stay away from me, my friends and my mates"
"Lilian. I was really hoping we could he friends again."
"Didn't you just hear what I said?"
"I know, but I won't stop trying to earn your forgiveness," she says with tears in her eyes. At this point i am shocked.
I look at Gab and she has the same expression as me.
"I-i-i-I'm sorry..." She burst into full blown sobs.
Due to her crying, she starts attracting crowd and it doesn't take long before they start talking.
"Omg Rosa is crying..."
"I kinda feel bad for her."
"Lilian is heartless."
"Nope, I think she faking it."
"She deserves it."
"What's going on here." I see Santiago and Darius come out from nowhere and I roll my eyes.
"None of your business."
they look at Rosa and she looks back at them making them lock eyes.
For a bit too long.
I go closer to Gab and whisper "how old is Rosa?"
"She's 17. You're supposed to find your mate at 18 so she going have to wait a year. I know what you thinking." see this is my best friend.
"Do you think they could be...."
"I guess."
Before I could say anything else, I felt sparks as someone grabbed my cheeks and turned my face then gave me kiss.
I recognized the handsome face as Romeo's and kissed him back.
All attention went to us and I pulled away before things became awkward.
"Aren't you supposed to be in class right now?"
How can he ask that. Haven't he noticed Rosa yet?
"Romy,"
As soon as he heard that, the look on his face was priceless.
Romeo rethinking his life choices:
"What are you doing here?"
"Romy, I was hoping I could make amends."
"Romeo, give the girl a chance." Darius said and Romeo glared at him.
"Mind your business."
Oh god.
"Romy, I'm sorry for what I did. I'm seriously happy for Lilian and I just wanted to come back so I can study."
"Then study. You're not my responsibility so don't expect me to take care of you."
"Okay. I promise I won't do anything."
She smiled and I rolled my eyes.
"I'm going to class."
"Okay, see you later."
He gave me a kiss on the cheek and left. I looked back at Rosa and she was still smiling so I just walked away.
-dance class-
I decided to play Captain Hook by Meghan Thee Stallion.
I got my girls and turned on the music.
After the dance, I was breathing hard cause I used all my strength/anger to dance and it's overwhelming.
I'm just trying to figure out why she's back and being all nice all of a sudden.
I sat down and got out my drawing book. It's been long since I drew.
I think the last time I drew was for Zoe (my baby sister).
"Do you wanna draw me?" I look up to see Darius and I rolled my eyes.
"What are you doing here?"
"I saw your dance. You were really aggressive earlier."
"Gee thanks." he laughed and sat down
"I'm guessing it has something to do with that girl from this morning."
"Aren't you observant?"
"Stop being so sarcastic and tell me why you hate her,"
"Why do you wanna know?"
"I guess I'm nosey." I sighed and told him everything while drawing some random s**t.
"So...what's the big deal."
"What do you mean what's the big deal."
"It's not that serious."
"Ugh, you don't have a mate so you don't understand."
"Ouch, that kinda hurt though."
He faked pain and I laughed.
"Did I just hear that right. I just made the one and only Lilian laugh."
"Congratulations."
He did a little bow and I smiled,
"Wow, that's cool."
I look at my drawing and shrug,
"It's ight."
"If you say so,"
As I kept on talking to him, I felt as if someone was watching us and it didn't sit right with me.
