Chapter 39-02
He looks at me waiting for me to say something and I sigh.
Just as I was about to say something, I hear a tiny giggle which makes me look over to the stairs.
"Shh, don't laugh. Mommy is gonna hear us."
"Sorry. I couldn't help it."
"If we get caught, I'm suing you."
"How will you do that?"
"I don't know. I always hear Uncle Kegan say that so I'm guessing I can do so too."
I smile and stand up.
I tiptoe to where they are sitting and squat close to them.
"But, we have to be quiet so mommy will not hear us."
"What don't you want mommy to hear?" I say and smile.
"We don't want mommy to know we're here so we can scar-" they both turned towards me and I smile.
"Go ahead."
"Mommy, when did you get here?"
"Oh I've been here for long."
