Chapter Three - Information at it's Best

დ. Ellora. დ Kael had just vanished, and I glanced over at Jareth, who at that moment looked as if he was in some kind of pain. I desperately wanted to know what he was thinking, but fear stopped me. “What?” he repeated, his voice cold and calculated. “He just vanished,” I stated stupidly. Embarrassed as I realized that I had forgotten I was living in a house with people who had all kinds of different abilities. “Kael’s ability is apportation,” Jareth explained. I nodded but didn’t quite understand. “He can teleport himself, others or even objects just by snapping his fingers,” he continued to explain, and I smiled. “That’s pretty cool,” I said as I looked him up and down, wondering what his ability is. I felt daring so I turned to face him completely. “What is your ability?” I asked. He didn’t seem happy with my question and I felt the panic start to rise. “I mean, sorry to ask, just curious,” I rushed out, trying to explain. We stood staring at each other for a few minutes until he held out his hand, palm up. I glanced down at his hand, confused. Was he expecting me to take his hand or something? I wanted to reach out and do exactly that but suddenly a chocolate bar appeared. I took a surprised step back. “I have the ability to call objects or people to me,” “Oh,” was all I managed to say as the chocolate bar levitated towards me, confused by this action, I took another step back. “Take it,” he said in a cold and bored tone. I reached out and took it. “My ability is calling and telekinesis,” “You have two abilities?” I questioned as I looked up at him. “It’s not two abilities, they work hand in hand, I guess,” he abruptly turned and left me alone. I couldn’t help but smile as I tore the wrapper open and shove the delicious chocolate in my mouth. Remembering Riley’s promise for us to have dinner with Adam flashed through my mind and I quickly went looking for her. I didn’t have to look very far as I found her sitting outside by the swimming pool. “Riley,” I called out to her as I got closer. “Have fun with lover boy?” she teased, and I blushed. “Um, so why did you agree for us to have dinner with Adam?” “Two reasons, jealousy, and answers,” she told me with a smirk. “Huh?” “To make Jareth jealous and for us to get some answers,” she broke it down for me and shook her head as if I was silly or something. “Oh,” დ.დ.დ It was like a scene from that movie Dirty Dancing. I couldn’t help but stare at the people dancing. It was mesmerizing. Seeing it on tv was one thing but to see it in real life was a whole other ball game. It was erotic and yet intimidating. I felt like baby at that moment and just stood there watching as people danced to some song that I didn’t recognize. They did moves, I wouldn’t even dare to try. “Earth to Ellora!” Riley groaned out in my ear. I wanted to tear my gaze away from them and look at her but for some reason, I couldn’t. “Hey! Ellora!” her voice got all squeaky and I managed to look away. “What is it?” I asked her, honestly, I was annoyed that she had interrupted me at that moment. “Do you dance?” she questioned me and I blushed. The answer was a simple no, I had never learned and always felt as though I had two left feet. “No,” I stated simply as I allowed my gaze to move over the couples. Watching them grind on each other in what seemed to be slow motion but wasn’t. “Well, want to get a drink then?” she didn’t bother to wait for me to answer as she grabbed my hand and led me to the bar they had set up for this party. “Whose party is this?” I asked curiously. “It’s Kia’s,” Riley informed me, and I smiled. I liked Kia; she was a funny yet sweet girl. I frowned, remembering that I still had to apologize to her about the bat incident. Riley handed me a glass and I looked down at it. “What is it?” “Rum and coke,” she said in a dull and bored tone, to which I rolled my eyes. I wasn’t against drinking, but it wasn’t something I did often, therefore I knew I would be nursing the drink for most of the night. “How was dinner with Adam?” suddenly a deep male voice spoke in my ear, causing me to jump in surprise and nearly spill my drink. I knew from the way my body reacted that it was Jareth. I smiled sweetly as I turned to give him my full attention. “It was…” I paused thinking of the right word to use to describe that evening. “Interesting,” “How so?” he questioned, and I smiled to myself. He may act cold and uninterested, but he must be feeling something if he could question me about it. “Adam explained that since I had a feeling Riley was going to be important to me, I was blocking myself from entering her mind. All I had to do was remove my own wall and then I would be able to do it,” I explained to him. He seemed to be thinking it over and then slowly nodded. He still had that look on his face, that one that I wanted to slap off. “Did you manage to do that?” “Not at first, honestly, it took me a few days to get rid of the wall,” “And now you can enter her mind?” “Yeah,” I answered. Truth was, I didn’t want to break down the wall but Riley insisted that I do it. Although she felt somewhat special, she also felt that she didn’t want to be the odd one out. I took a sip of my drink and smiled in my glass. Ever since that day in the kitchen, Jareth managed to make small conversations with me. He never stayed long, and he never offered any information about anything nor himself. I didn’t need to look back to know that he had already left me. I figured that he might be worried that I would read his mind and although I was tempted too, I didn’t. I spotted Kael on the dance floor with some girl and quickly glanced over at Riley. She didn’t look happy. “Oh Riley,” I said to her mentally. She turned to look at me and I could see she was on the verge of tears. “Maybe you need to up your game slightly,” I added. She frowned and I continued to talk to her mentally. “Maybe you should try catching his attention,” she nodded as she slowly scanned the room. There weren’t many guys available as most of them where on the dance floor already. I didn’t see Jareth anywhere, but I did notice Adam standing off to one side. He hadn’t seen me yet and suddenly I wished that he would look up and see me. When he didn’t, I went ahead and greeted him with a simple “Hi,” he looked around and finally our eyes met. He smiled and I blushed, smiling back at him. I thought back to the night of the dinner and blushed a darker shade of pink. Adam was a really nice guy and I had found myself enjoying his company. Riley abruptly grabbed my hand and started pulling me to the dance floor. Panic rushed through me and I shook my head as I tried to get out of her grasp. “Dance with me Ellora, there isn’t anyone else,” she begged. I hated it when she begged. I nodded and sent her an image from the Dirty Dancing movie and she smiled, nodding. Remembering the movie and that specific scene was enough for me to know that the steps were simple yet sexy. We started off slow, moving together, just our hands touching. “Keep eye contact with me,” I told her, and she nodded. It was more about the way our hips moved and soon we had people watching us. It seemed a bit repetitive but using my power, I zoned in on Kael’s thoughts. “Damn, she is so hot!” I wasn’t sure who he thought was hot, so I continued to listen to his thoughts. “What I wouldn’t give to have her in my arms,” I sighed, frustrated. Riley noticed and then she upped her game by moving her hips in a more seductive manner, I caught on quickly and mimicked her moves. “Damn, those hips!” I didn’t want to continue being in his mind as he imagined pushing Riley up against the wall and kissing her. I smirked over at Riley as now I knew it was her that he was, in fact, fantasizing about. I lost my concentration and suddenly an image of Adam placing his hands on my hips flashed through my mind. I quickly looked at him and shook my head. I was happy to hear that the song was coming to an end. Riley grabbed my hand and led me back to the bar. “Anything?” she asked me curiously. “Oh yeah, you are definitely on his radar,” I informed her. She smiled with so much happiness, yet it was short-lived as Kael grabbed another girl and started dancing with her. I wanted to go over there and hit him on his head. I quickly turned off my power as another image of Adam behind me flashed through my mind. Maybe he didn’t realize that I could see his fantasies. დ. Kael. დ I grabbed Jessica and just started moving with her to the music. I wanted to go over to Riley and I had to stop myself. She wasn’t just some girl that I wanted to get with. She was nice, funny in a sarcastic kind of way and so sweet. I tried getting the image out of my head of kissing her by distracting myself with Jessica. It wasn’t working as well as I had hoped and whispered in her ear, excusing myself. She didn’t seem impressed with me, but I needed a minute. I snapped my fingers and sighed in relief as I was back in my room. “Hey man,” Jareth said to me and I turned to look at him. “Dude, I’ve got it bad,” I admitted to him. “What?” “I’ve got it bad for Riley,” “About time, that girl has been crushing on you, since she got here,” Jareth’s voice was bored, and I rolled my eyes as I threw myself onto my bed. When Riley had arrived here, I thought she was way out of my league, so I didn’t bother to try and make any kind of move on her. However, Ellora’s actions towards me now make a lot more sense. “What am I gonna do?” I asked him. I felt stupid asking him, as I am pretty sure the guy is a virgin in every way possible. He acted like a tough cold-hearted guy, but it was all just a facade. “That depends,” Jareth said as he eyed me out carefully. “On?” “On what you want from her,” “What do you mean?” I questioned as I glanced over at him. “I mean, do you just want to get in her pants or have an actual relationship with her?” thinking about his question seriously, I didn’t bother to answer him. I wanted both. “Both,” I finally answered after a while. He had gone back to reading his book and looked up at me when I had spoken. “Then you need to let her know you are interested, stop messing around with other girls and make her your priority,” Jareth advised. I smiled and snapped my fingers again and spotted her with Ellora at the bar. “Hey Riley, Ellora,” I greeted them with a smile, however, I didn’t even look at Ellora. “Oh, hey Kael,” Riley gave me a warm smile and my heart skipped a beat. I grabbed her hand and pulled her right up against my chest. “Would you dance with me?” I asked her as my gaze fell to her lips. I wanted to kiss her, and I wanted to do it badly, but I would take it slow. “Yeah,” she breathed out and I smiled as I lead her onto the dance floor. დ. Ellora. დ I couldn’t help but giggle as Kael took Riley out onto the dance floor. It was about time, he did something. Although, now that Riley was gone, I was officially bored. As much as I enjoy watching these people dance, it was also quite uncomfortable. I made a hasty exit and dashed up the two flights of stairs to get to the room I shared with Riley. “Peace and quiet,” I muttered as I went into the bathroom to shower. I still couldn’t believe how perfectly I fitted into this place. just three days ago, I was prepared to head out. Find a new town and seek more answers elsewhere. Instead, I was here. “Ellora?” I heard the voice loud and clear. It startled me as I finished my shower and got out. Wrapping the soft white fluffy towel around myself, I poked my head out and looked around the room. It was empty and I breathed out a sigh of relief. I had probably imagined someone calling out to me. I went over to my closet and took out a pair of blue PJ shorts and a white loose crop top.  Once dressed, I sat on the bed and dried my hair with the towel. “Ellora?” this time the voice could be clearly heard from the other side of the door and was followed by a soft knock. I got up and opened the door to see Adam standing there, looking uncomfortable. The sudden image of him using his ability to spy on me made me take a step back. “What are you doing here?” I asked him. “Ah, I wanted to apologize,” he whispered as he looked everywhere else but not at me. “For?” “For that little fantasy, I had back at the party,” I blushed at his words and another image of me in my clothing flashed through my mind. Suddenly I could see myself through his eyes and I turned around and grabbed Riley’s robe off her closet handle and slipped it on. “S-sorry,” I mumbled as I turned to face him. “Don’t apologize, you are a beautiful girl and I am after all just a man,” he said as he looked at me. I felt overwhelmed by everything that was happening and had zero control over my emotions. Adam’s thoughts and fantasies were running through my mind like a scene from a horror movie. You know those movies where you shout out at the girl: ‘Don’t! Run! Run!’ and then she doesn’t run but rather continues with her stupid investigation of the noise she had heard and then she gets killed or chased or something and you end up muttering: ‘Stupid dumb b***h!’ anyway, I felt like that stupid girl at this moment. I was struggling to breathe, and Adam seemed oblivious to my discomfort. “She is seriously sexy, even with that robe on,” “I wonder how she would feel if I made a move right now,” “Her lips look so inviting,” “Stop! Please!” I suddenly yelled out. His eyes opened wide and then he blushed, apologized and literally ran away. I breathed heavily as I closed the door and tried to calm my racing heartbeat. I shrugged off Riley’s robe and got into my bed. Adam had not been secretive about his feelings yet seeing and hearing his thoughts and fantasies was too much to handle. Finally, after what seemed like hours but was in fact just a few minutes, I began to relax. I covered my body with the soft blanket and curled up, sleep took over quick enough. დ.დ.დ I heard the sound of the alarm going off and I reached over to the side table and hit around, trying to shut the damn thing up. A loud crash woke me up completely and I sat up and looked around. The alarm clock, as well as an empty glass, was now laying, broken, on the floor. I glanced over at Riley and saw that she was dead to the world. I smirked as I thought back to my first morning and how she had complained that I sleep like the dead. Payback was a b***h. I lazily got up and went into the bathroom to do my morning business and take a shower. I didn’t want to think too much about last night's events. However, I was curious if anything had happened between Riley and Kael. I thought about Adam and Jareth as I finished bathing my body and got out of the shower. Half expecting Riley to already be awake, I was oddly surprised to find her still sleeping. I shrugged and got dressed in a pair of black leggings and a long colorful gypsy style top. Sitting down on the corner of Riley’s bed, towel in hand as I dry my hair, I slowly began to try and wake up sleeping beauty. “Riley, wake up,” I received nothing but a soft snore in response. “Oooh, Riley…wake up,” I sang out with a soft bounce on her bed. She stirred but then nothing. “Come on Riley, you don’t want to miss out on the delicious breakfast,” I continued bouncing as I threw the towel onto my bed. Now fully committed to waking her up. “Riley, Riley, Riley, Riley, Riley,” I chanted over and over until she moaned out and turned. Opening her eyes, I smiled as I took in her morning appearance. “Go away,” she mumbled. “No, come on,” I bounced a couple more times until she sat up and wiped the sleep from her eyes. “Good, now get your cute butt out of bed and in the shower,” I ordered before going over to my side of the room and making my bed. I heard her huff and puff with some shuffling and then the sound of the bathroom door closing. I grinned as I finished making my bed and then turned and made hers. I cleaned up the whole room and when she came out of the bathroom, she was Riley again. “What time is it?” she asked me as she wandered over to her closet. I check the time on my phone as the clock was totally ruined. “Just a little before eight,” “Oh yeah! Breakfast here I come,” she said as she got dressed and I couldn’t help but admire the deep purple shirt dress she had decided to wear. She matched the outfit with black ballet shoes and a cute black bolero jacket. “Looking good,” I commented, and I smiled at her soft blush. She pulled her hair up into a messy bun and turned around a few times. “You think?” “Yeah, does this have anything to do with a certain young man?” I asked teasingly. Her blush went a darker shade of pink and I couldn’t help but add. “You won't need any makeup with that blush,” she flipped me off and grabbed her phone from her desk. “Come on, let’s eat,” I nodded in agreement and followed her out the room. When we entered the kitchen, I was shocked to see we were the first ones to arrive. “Now, this is what I am talking about,” Riley remarked as we approached the island. Plates of hot bacon, scrambled eggs, fried mushrooms, and sausages greeted us. “Morning ladies,” Janet, the cook, greeted us as she placed a tray filled with pancakes on the island. There wasn’t much space left on the counter, but my stomach grumbled in excitement at the prospect of enjoying such a delicious breakfast. “Morning,” I greeted back, and I grabbed a plate and started to dish up. “Smells so good,” Riley sniffed as she too started piling her plate with food. Once done, we made our way over to the dining table and sat down. As I started eating, I could hear others coming in and dishing up. Soon the kitchen and dining room were filled with people talking, laughing and eating. “Hi,” I looked up to see Kael standing just next to Riley with a plate of food. There was no place for him to sit and I quickly stood up and grabbed my almost empty plate. “Hi Kael,” Riley smiled up at him and then frowned at me. “Where are you going?” “I’m so full,” I lied as I gestured for Kael to take my place. He nodded and grinned at me sheepishly before sitting down after I had moved out of the way. I went back into the kitchen and quickly finished my food before rinsing off the plate and putting it into one of the dishwashers. “Aren’t you just a little matchmaker from heaven?” Jareth whispered in my ear. Butterflies started dancing in my tummy as I turned around and looked up at him. His stunning honey brown eyes captivating me into silence. “Ellora,” he whispered as he took a step closer to me. I was aware of him. The smells of old spice and freshly cut grass filled my senses and I found myself leaning in. “Mmm,” I moaned out softly as my gaze shifted from his eyes to his lips. Lips that I wanted to kiss and taste. “Mmm indeed,” he said, awakening me from my weird like trance. I stepped back, embarrassed and gave him a smile before walking away. Jareth Yates made me act like a silly teenager. I rushed from the kitchen and headed downstairs to the basement. Five doors where open and I entered the door that had been painted red and saw Manny standing on the other side of the room reading a book. “Hi Manny,” I greeted him as I looked around the room. It wasn’t a very large room, but it served its purpose. The walls had been painted in a soft cream and the wooden floor looked dark and dull. There wasn’t much furniture in the room, expect a bookcase, a simple desk, and a chair. Manny closed the book and smiled warmly at me. “Morning Ellora, you are early this morning,” he stated, and I shrugged as I made my way over to him. I liked Manny, he was open about everything and I found it quite refreshing.  “Yeah, what are you doing?” I asked him as I walked over to him. “Doing research on a case,” he informed me. I had heard about these cases or hunts from Riley, but I wasn’t sure what they entailed. “What case?” I curiously questioned him. He looked at me, almost as if trying to decide on whether or not I was to be trusted or maybe I was just being paranoid. I stared back at him, taking in his soft green eyes and light brown hair. “Well, Ellora, a supernatural case, if you must know,” “Just curious Manny,” “Of course, well, for the last two months, weird and unexplained things have been going on. I should say more so than before. There have always been weird and unexplained things going on but not quite like this,” he handed over the book to me and I took it, reading the title: ‘Berserker Warriors’. “What?” I asked not actually understanding what berserker warriors where. I flipped open the book and found myself looking at some odd pictures. I couldn’t quite describe what I was looking at. “You see Ellora, some beasts or monsters are only supposed to be legends or stories and yet some are real. Berserker warriors are what we refer to as bear-shifters,” “Say what?” “Bear-shifters, however, these berserkers aren’t shifters. They are just vicious and violent beasts. There are many stories revolving around these creatures, but the myth is the main thing. However, something or someone is bringing forth these creatures,” I stood frozen on the spot as I listened to Manny try and explain it to me. “Ellora, how much did Adam actually explain to you?” “Well, he told me that we are gifted magically and a bit of the history on, um, what’s his name again?” I felt stupid for not remembering but Manny gave me a small smile. “Gregory Ronald,” “Yes, him, and he told me a bit about how some things are real and yeah,” I stopped talking as a few other people entered the room. “Alright, Ellora, I’d like you to stay behind later, so we can talk more,” he took the book from me and placed it on his desk. I nodded to no one and smiled over at the four other people that had come into the room. One of the girls came over to me and smiled. “Hi, we haven’t officially met yet, my name is Annie,” she held out her hand and I shook it. “Ellora,” “Oh yes, I know,” she giggled and the other three came over and introduced themselves. Jordon, Blake, and Julia. I greeted them with a shy smile as the room slowly filled with an additional ten people. I spotted Kael and Jareth and hung back, hoping they wouldn’t see me. However, Jareth must’ve had other ideas as he searched the room until he spotted me. დ. Jareth. დ I smirked as I spotted Ellora trying to hide behind a large guy who I knew was Brent. I moved towards her, watching her as she looked like a scared cat. “Hi,” I whispered as I leaned in closer to her. I knew I made her uncomfortable by being so close to her, but I also couldn’t help myself. She didn’t move or acknowledge my greeting. I looked up as Manny started talking. “Morning team, this is our first official work out with a new member and since she took the time to demonstrate her ability, I think it’s only fair we do the same. Introduce yourself, your ability and give a small demonstration of it. Ah, Kael, let's start off with you,” I glanced over at Ellora and the temptation to brush her hair from her face came over me. I stopped myself just in time as Kael stepped forward. “Kael Morgan, Apportation is my ability,” I watched as he snapped his fingers and disappeared. “I can teleport myself anywhere,” Kael announced from the other side of the room. He looked over at me and I already knew what he was planning. He snapped his fingers again and suddenly I was standing next to him. “I can teleport others as well. I can also teleport objects,” he snapped his fingers again and the chair that was behind the desk was now in front of the door. “Thank you, Kael, Jareth since your ability is similar to his, why don’t you go next,” I smiled as I took a small step away from Kael. Glancing over at him, I knew he knew what I was planning. “I’m Jareth Yates and my ability is calling and telekinesis,” I raised my hand and Kael slowly left the ground. He squealed out like a little girl and the others laughed at this. I moved him around the room. “Ok, thank you Jareth,” Manny called out with a laugh. I wanted to look over at Ellora but didn’t. “Um, Brent, your turn,” I let Kael drop to the floor and he shot me an angry look, which I ignored.   “Hi, I’m Brent Watson and my ability is fire-throwing,” the big guy then demonstrated by spreading his arms out in front of him and shooting little balls of fire out towards the wall from the palm of his hands. It wasn’t that impressive, but I knew that he couldn’t go all out as the room was full. If Brent was outside, then his fireballs would be larger and much more threatening. “Nice, Jordon?” “Yeah um, I’m Jordon Gale and my ability is hyper speed,” Jordon moved around the room so quickly that he became a blur. The others moved to the middle of the room and the girls that didn’t tie up their hair were holding onto it. I noticed Ellora giggling as she watched Jordon. “Wonderful, Blake, you’re up,” “I’m Blake no last name,” the blonde-headed guy winked. “And my ability is portal creation,” “This ability is similar to teleportation in a sense,” Manny spoke up and I rolled my eyes. Why ask us to do this silly exercise if he was going to interrupt? I thought to myself as I watched Blake smirk. “Yeah, so,” Blake stood forward and moved his hands in a circular motion, creating a portal. Looking in, I could see the kitchen. Manny stepped forward and walked through the portal and we watched as he went to the fridge and took out a tin of coke. Coming back through the portal he nodded over at Blake, who then closed the portal. I already knew that he could create a portal to anywhere. “Thank you, ah, Annie,” “I’m Annie Watson, yes, I am Brent’s little sister, and my ability is plasma energy throwing,” Annie did a very similar move as Brent’s, holding out her hands as small balls of blue, white and purple plasma energy appeared. She threw them towards the wall and then she shrugged. “Same as Brent’s just not fire,” the group laughed, and I frowned. I wasn’t sure what was funny though and gazing over at Ellora I saw that she too was frowning. I wondered what she was thinking. “Thank you, Annie,” Manny went on to call others to introduce themselves and demonstrate and I was officially bored. I knew it was for Ellora and all that, but I could think of a million other things I would rather be doing than watching these people show off their abilities. The work out time was consumed by this rubbish and Manny soon dismissed us for a break. I stayed back, watching Ellora as she too didn’t move. Then it was just me, Kael, Ellora, and Manny left in the room. I knew Kael would wait for me, but I was waiting for Ellora. “Boys, if you don’t mind,” Manny said, and Kael shrugged as he snapped his fingers and teleported us to our bedroom. “Ugh,” I moaned out as I sat down on my bed. “What? He didn’t want us there,” Kael said defensively, and I rolled my eyes. “I know man, just curious as to what they are talking about,” Kael didn’t know how I felt about Ellora and I wanted to keep it that way. დ. Kael. დ I threw myself onto my bed. “Ahuh,” I mumbled out as I closed my eyes. Jareth thought I was a fool and that I wasn’t aware of his attraction and interest in Ellora. If it wasn’t for Riley, I probably would’ve been the same way. Ellora is not only sexy beautiful but she was incredibly smart. I opened my eyes and looked over at Jareth, who had picked up a book. “Have you spoken to her?” “To who?” he asked without looking up from the book. “To Ellora,” I said watching him closely. I noticed the soft blush and the way he pulled his lips. “Yeah, why?” “Dude, you’ve got it bad, just like me,” he looked up at me with wide eyes and it confirmed what I already knew. “I don’t know what you are talking about,” Jareth said in a cold, bored tone. He had put the mask back up and I smirked. “Sure, dude, whatever you say,” I closed my eyes once again and thought about Riley. After we had danced for a while, I had led her outside and we had sat by the pool and talked. She was quite amazing and interesting. “Come on, the break is almost over,” Jareth interrupted my thoughts. I sat up and followed him out the door. “I could just-” “Lazy,” Jareth muttered but I heard it and punched him on his arm. “Shut up,” we made our way back down to the basement and I saw Riley entering the white door room. “Riley,” I called out to her and she stopped and turned. “Kael,” she said as she gave me a slow sexy smile. I felt my heartbeat slightly faster and then Jareth punched me hard on my arm. “Ow,” I cried out as I tore my gaze from Riley to Jareth. “Grow up,” Jareth hissed out before entering the room. I looked back over but Riley was already gone. I moaned out as I entered the room and searched for Jareth. Sure enough, I spotted him standing next to Ellora, whispering something to her. She was pink in her face with a small smile tugging on her lips. Annoyed by Jareth’s earlier actions and the soft pain in my arm, I sought out revenge by snapping my fingers and moving Ellora to the opposite side of the room. She looked around dazed and confused and I peeked a look over at Jareth, who was giving me the evil eye. I snapped my fingers and leaned up. “Karma is a b***h,” I growled out in his ear. “f**k off,” Jareth replied and with a quick movement of his hand, I was once again in the air, flying towards the wall. “Stop!” Manny suddenly yelled out and Jareth paused me in mid-air, inches away from the wall. I quickly snapped my fingers and stood next to Manny, smirking over at a very unhappy Jareth. დ. Ellora. დ I watched the scene in front of me and smiled. Jareth and Kael were obviously playing around, even though they looked quite annoyed with each other. I knew Kael had moved me away from Jareth and my heart skipped a beat. That could only mean that Jareth is in fact interested in me. I blushed as I thought about him. "Finally, I am Manny Moore and my ability is electrokinesis," Manny was looking over at me and I watched as he lifted up his left hand and pointed it towards the wall. Those that were close by moved out of the way as Manny threw out a thin beam of electric lightening at the wall. It didn't look that strong, but I had figured out that in this room, they used their abilities in a small way. Manny then started talking about how to control our abilities when we are experiencing different emotions and I found that I couldn’t concentrate on what he was saying as I was too busy looking at Jareth. Oh boy, I have it bad.
