"Hey, Kendo-chan, wanna share some cupcakes?" Kogami asked. "I don't think I can finish them all."
"Sure." She sat down next to him.
"I know that we've only known each other for a few months but I like you."

Her brain was going into overdrive trying to process his words. More like, there were fireworks, confetti and victory dances going down inside it.
"Yeah, you're like the little sister I've never had."
Cue heart shattering into a million (or more) pieces.
"You have some icing on the side of your mouth."
He was about to wipe it off with a napkin but just then a familiar warm hand gently grabbed her chin, making her look up, and a tongue licked the icing off.
