Sam Lawton was running around. He was gasping for breath. Both of his legs were badly injured. Blood ran down the sharp rocks. Accompanied by the terrifying roar of the waves, wolf howls choked Sam. The ship was getting out of reach when suddenly there was an enormous explosion.
Boom!
Sam coughed on the shore. His breathing was labored as he looked around. His hands squeezed the shirt he was wearing before finally patting his chest.
Yes, Sam was safe. He looked up, staring at the sun that was shining brighter than usual. A hope appeared after resigning himself to death.
"I can't believe this."
Sam moved on. There was nothing to see but rocks. No boats, no life. Other than the wind blowing and the trees swaying.
Sam stood up, trying to find anyone who might have survived. After all, before sunrise, he was still with six beauties in a boat. The young sailor's ship saved him from helplessness.
Although he was still dizzy and weak, Sam couldn't stay still. He had to find help. He had to at least hold on, ask for help from the locals, and then go home. To hell with his ticket to Hawaii. He even cursed his luck.
"Damn it! This is not a wonderful dream in Hawaii! This is my f*ckin' nightmare!"
Sam limped over the sharp rocks. His foot slipped, and he got his foot stuck. Before he finally heard someone's voice in the distance. The voice of Alison.
"H-help!"
Sam broke free of the trapped rocks. Despite the pain, he couldn't remain silent when someone called for help.
"Did anyone hear me? Please!"
Sam panicked. His legs were pulled hard, then he hurried to the area behind the boulder. He was sure Alison was there.
"Is that you, Ms. Sood?"
How surprised Sam was to see Alison trapped. Alison's hands were pinned to the rocks, while half of her body was floating, battered by the gigantic waves. Her forehead was injured from hitting the rock several times. Her other hand couldn't reach anything because of the impossible conditions.
"Isn't there anyone else who can help me besides you?"
Sam didn't care. He climbed down the rocks, then tried to release Alison's hand that was caught between the sharp rocks.
"You don't have to thank me, Ms. Sood."
Unfortunately, Alison's clamped hand could not be removed easily. The more Sam pulled, the louder Alison's screams became, and hurt his ears.
"Argh! You're going to kill me here, huh? Can't you take it slow?"
Sam racked his brains as Alison's hand became more injured. Unfortunately, the blood continued to flow and drip into the sea water which now looked much more horrible.
"If I do it slowly, can you promise not to call for help?"
"You're trying to foolish me here? I'm your superior, Lawton. Shouldn't you respect me?"
Sam was reluctant to answer. He was still looking for a way to get Alison's injured hand out as soon as possible. Moreover, he was in a place that was completely unfamiliar. An island that might be the only good place in the middle of the ocean.
"Am I talking to a statue, Lawton?"
Sam lost his temper. Not just because of Alison's nonsensical ramblings. But because he couldn't see the ocean clearly. The waves were too big. The strong wind, the blood that kept dripping, and the scent of the raging sea made him even more frightened.
"Can't you watch your tongue for a moment? I need to get you out before a shark comes and swallows you alive!"
Alison glared in fear. She looked back to ensure her safety. Her voice trembled as she realized her situation might not be salvageable. "You can't threaten me, Lawton."
Sam moved away with a sad laugh. His eyes were still scanning around to make sure. Confirming the possibility of another death that he might tragically witness.
"Then you can save yourself, Ms. Sood."
"No!" Suddenly, Alison panicked and screamed. Although she was reluctant to ask for help after cursing at Sam, she had no choice. Sam was there as her only hope. "I mean, can you help me now, Lawton? I need your help. Please."
Without even begging, Sam was already planning his help. It was just that he needed another favor. He could not just pull Alison's arm. That's why he waited for the time to help without injuring Alison's arm, which was getting worse.
"Okay. Then, you must trust me. Completely."
"I agree! Now please help me get out of this nightmare before my head breaks from hitting the rocks!"
Sam approached, then noticed the gap in the rocks that clamped Alison's hand firmly.
"Just as I thought! Now listen to me, Miss Sood. There might be bigger waves coming. You just have to stay calm. Don't do anything. Let alone pull your hand. Just stay calm. And I'll catch you when the waves calm down. I think this is the wave."
Alison was speechless at the solution. However, she recalled Sam's words to trust. She hesitantly nodded as Sam took a step further back. It made her heart pound with fear. Especially when she remembered Sam's threat about the shark.
In the next second, a gigantic wave crashed against Alison's body and made Sam wince in pain as he imagined the pain Alison had been experiencing for the past few moments. Quickly, Sam grabbed Alison's hand as the waves pushed her deeper into the sea and pulled her free from the crush of rocks.
Sam stood on the edge of the rocks with difficulty. His feet became the support of them. Sam's hand grasped Alison's firmly while holding her back from being carried away by the strong sea current.
"Please hold on a little longer. There will be a time when the waves will be calmer. Then try to come up when I give the order, Ms. Sood!"
Sam no longer paid attention to the tired Alison. He just wanted to make sure the waves that were coming could help Alison get help for the second time.
"Can't you just pull me up now, Lawton?"
"We're on the edge of some sharp rocks, Ms. Sood. If I can't pull you up, we'll both go down. You with the current, and me with a hole in my back from the sharp rocks! Close your mouth and let go, then float quietly until the waves throw you out!"
Suddenly, Alison was shocked when she was dropped. She was panicked and frightened. In the dark and frightening depths of the sea, she faintly heard Sam Lawton's voice.
"Calm yourself and float now!"
Alison calmed her heart. Her body slowly floated according to her brain's command. In an instant, the waves came back and carried her away with her eyes closed.
Sam was ready. His hands tried to grab Alison with all their might without falling and getting hurt. Struggling to keep his balance, Sam caught Alison without injury. His body was wet again as the waves brought Alison down into his arms.
Sam's breath came in brief gasps. His eyes never stopped looking at Alison's face, which was filled with anxiety. The face that Sam had known for the dictatorship.
It wasn't just Alison's face that made Sam suddenly dumbfounded. There was a sudden desire that ran through every part of his body as he watched Alison's chest rise and fall with fear. Chests that looked solid and firm beneath the wet t-shirt. Before, Sam finally got a good slap.
"Stop looking at my boobah, pervert!"
