Her Possession

Chapter 13

Something doesn't feel right Dominic seems to feel like everyone is acting weird lately. And by everyone he specifically means his mother and Alec. Ever since he told his mom about his mate, she has been acting very strange. Alec is too, he's having Dom work non-stop almost like he's keeping him away from something or maybe someone.

And he’s slowly going crazy he misses his mate but every time he simply thinks about visiting her Alec has something for me to do. Before Alec could even think about giving him more work, Dom decides to pay his lovely mate a visit. Maybe he can thank her for the sweet little gifts she sent him like a watch with a teddy bear.

It's a bit late in the night but I'm sure no matter what time it is Kat will be very happy to see him after having to wait for so long. So as soon as the coast is clear, Dom runs through the forest in wolf form then once I reach the waterfall I shift back into his human form. Once Dom passes through the Blue Moon borderline, he jogs his way to the pack house without any problems.

But when he goes inside and find Kat's room by following her scent he is hurt and shocked by what he finds behind the door. His mate and his worst enemy together, she's a red lingerie set and he's about to take his shirt off.

"What the hell is this?!" Dom angrily yells.

"Wait it's not what you think!" Kat yells as she quickly puts on a robe to cover herself.

"I'm out of here! I don't want to hear whatever bullshit that is about to come out of your mouth!" He’s f**king pissed but right when he’s planning to storm out, the door slams closed. Dom looks behind to see Kat with her hand out facing the door as if she magically closed the door.

"What the hell was that?!" Rick, his enemy, yells frantically. Kat reaches her hand out to him as she mumbles something in Latin Dom seems to think. Suddenly Rick drops unconscious, though Dom secretly wishes he would've had the chance to knock Rick out cold himself.

"Katrina what the hell is going on?!" Dom asks sternly.

"I....I....I don't know how to explain it." She stutters, trying to step closer to her mate but he takes a step back to widen the distance. It's obvious she's hurt by his actions, but he can't help it, she magically slams the door shut and knocks Rick out cold. How was it even possible.

"Well how about you start from the bloody beginning!" It wasn’t Dom’s intention to be harsh, but he is feeling a lot of emotions right now.

"I...um...I'm a hybrid, half wolf half witch." She anxiously replies.

"How is that possible?" Dom sits down on the closest chair, with all these surprises he doesn't know if he’ll be able to stand properly right now.

"Well we both know how I was concieved but nobody truly knew that my mother was actually a witch, a powerful one actually and she was able to cast a spell to make everyone think that she was a werewolf.......Just like your mother." Kat explains.

"What do you mean by just like my mom?!"

"Your mother is a powerful fae also known as a fairy, powerful enough to make it seem like she's a werewolf. But you already knew, that right?"

Dom is currently feeling even more confused right now. What the hell is she talking about?! There is no way his mom is a powerful fairy; she would've told him! Right?!

"Oh you didn't know...." Kat awkwardly says once she notices his confused/surprised look.

"Well mommy dearest has some explaining to do." She taunts.

"Shut up! You don't know anything! I shouldn't even believe anything that comes out of your mouth!"

‘I'm extremely pissed now.’

"Now explain to me why this douchebag is here and why you were trying to sleep with him while your mate was going crazy trying to see you!" I gesture at Rick when I said douchebag.

"I can explain.......your best friend Alec paid me a little visit, he threatened me and told me to stay away from you. So I casted a little binding spell so we will never have to be apart again. And when I called you this i***t arrives instead of you. Something went wrong with the spell or he got in the way. I'm sorry this wasn't suppose to happen. I was about to reverse the spell, but he wouldn't let go I didn't want to use my powers, but he left me with no choice and just when I was about to distract him you came in." She explains and yet again tries to take a step closer to him. He tenses up a bit as she stands just inches away. Once their knees touch, she kneels down and grabs his face in her hands.

"I'm sorry my sweet. Forgive me I just want us to be together forever, Forever and Always." Dom immediately gets up and leave without saying a word.

‘I need to talk to my mother and Alec. I need to know the truth now!’

Riley, Dominic’s mother hears a loud noise like a door slamming from the kitchen, she doesn’t feel alarmed because she easily recognizes the scent of the person who is storming in, in other words her child.

"Dom honey do you know what time it is?! What are you doing out so late?!" She shouts as she hears a pair of frantic footsteps.

"Mom we need to talk! Now!" Riley turns around to see her son furious, she has never seen him so angry before.

"Now young man, you watch your tone with me. I don’t care how old you are, I can still smack you for being disrespectful" She scolds him.

"Please mom." He pleads. Riley nods then gesture for him to sit on the bar stools in the kitchen.

"What do you want to talk about so late that it can't necessarily wait til tomorrow?" She calmly asks.

"I heard form a source that you're supposedly a powerful fairy so powerful you can make everyone think you're a werewolf. Care to explain that mother?" He bluntly asks.

"Now where the hell did you hear that?!" She frantically gets up then start to pace.

"Forget where I heard it from but it's obvious you're hiding something since you cursed. Now please mother I want the truth."

‘My poor boy I didn't want this day to come.’

"Yes honey it's true."

"What else don't I know Mom?" She sighs.

"Well I guess I should start from the beginning. I met your father in a country club my father use to own in Utah. There was an accident with a few witches and we had to leave. So once everything was safe we moved here. But the past came back to finish the job I guess and well your father didn't actually leave us.......he died in an accident." Riley silently sobs. In all honesty she expected Dom to shout, to get more angry with her but all he did was angrily get up and storm out of the house.

This time she couldn't hold in the wails and emotions any longer.She prays to the Moon Goddess for her baby boy to forgive her though he doesn't know everything just yet. And she prays that the girl doesn't hurt her boy or she will be done for.
