Chapter 12

Since the day the unexpected visitor that recently visited Blue Moon Territory, Alpha Alec Matthews, in a way threatened the young Female Alpha of Blue Moon, she has been trying to find out everything about him, his family, his pack and how he found out about what happened all those years ago. All she has so far are the basics such as how his older brother, who was originally suppose to be the Alpha, was unfortunately killed by a group of hunters but oddly enough his body was never recovered.

And how his father got obsessed over it and ended up getting killed by rogues, who were nice enough to return the body......in pieces. After that his mother mysteriously dies of a heart-attack. But what really caught her by surprise was finding out that their old Beta was none other than Daniel Torres.

Reading that gave her the answers she was truly looking for. The current Alpha Matthews seems to think he knows everything when he doesn't know the half of it. She is hoping that he keeps his end of the bargain.

"Well Alpha Alec Matthews what do you want?" Katrina asks getting tired with the chit-chat, just wanting to get straight to business.

"Well since we have put everything out there, I would like for you to stay away from Dom." He casually replies.

"You and I know very well that I can't. Nor will I ever do that!" Kat angrily yells, trying to keep Arabella under control so she doesn’t go and rip this i***t to shreds.

"*Sigh* Well it was worth a shot. But I guess I can make a counter offer by saying I want you to tell Dom the truth. He deserves to hear it from you and partially his mother."

"Well I think I can agree to that. It would've happened eventually though I strongly hoped it didn't have to be so soon." She confesses.

"Ahh but don't think you're off the hook easily. If you don't tell him soon enough, he will hear it all from me even if I'm missing a few details you're obviously hiding."

‘He is such a little shit.’ Just when she thought she could get away; he builds a huge brick wall to block the exit. But she will find a way, Dom can't know the truth. Though there are still a few pieces to complete the puzzle, she can't let him think that she’s a monster like everyone else thinks. He just wouldn’t understand just like all the others.

"And what is your definition of SOON ENOUGH." She asks, as she plots a plan to get herself out of this situation long enough to figure out her next move.

"Well I think maybe 2 weeks. I was originally to give you a week but I'm in a generous mood." He cheekily grins.

"Gee thanks." She sarcastically replies.

"Your welcome." He quickly answers completely ignoring my sarcasm.

‘I think that will give me enough time to figure something out.’

"Fine we have a deal." She offers her hand to shake on it. He hesitates a moment then shakes her hand to seal the deal.

A few weeks later

Alec might have promised to keep his end of the bargain, but Katrina is slowly doubting his so called "generosity". She hasn't heard from Dom for awhile now and she has a strong feeling that the Alpha of Dark Crescent has something to do with it.

To strongly keep Arabella at bay she sends her mate a few little gifts to help her watch out for him.

‘Even if that doesn't work, I have else up my sleeve.’
