Chapter 7

When Dominic was little boy, he would always be in the woods in search for an adventure. He has always been considered as an adventurous person but that side of him slowly faded as he grew up and responsibility became his focus. Well that was until today as he decides to visit the waterfall on the north side of Dark Crescent Territory. But when he was trying to find out what lied on the other side of the waterfall, he never expected to discover pack territory beyond the hidden entrance.

And not just any pack, it was the Blue Moon Pack. The Blue Moon Pack was known to be the most powerful and ruthless pack of all of America, possibly almost all over the world. That was until the late Alpha Santos died in a rogue attack leaving his mate and child all alone to lead the pack. Rumors went and still continue to go around saying that his mate couldn’t take the lost, so she decided to end her life without a care in the world. And their child had to grow up alone. It was also said that when he turned 16, he would be trained by the Beta and soon become Alpha.

And shockingly enough as he literally enters their territory, he was caught by 2 guards that were nearby, who are currently leading him to their Alpha. After hearing the rumors of the Blue Moon Pack, Dominic assumes that the Alphas would be just as scary and intimidating as the last one. Not only was the Alpha of Blue Moon a woman… she’s his mate.

The young Female Alpha was hoping to finally have a stress-free day today. But of course, that’s not possible for her based on current events. Wonder what the reason why she seems to think like this? Well turns out that an intruder was supposedly found on the south side near the waterfall, right at the nearest entrance of Dark Crescent Territory. Oh, and it wasn’t just any ordinary intruder that was found by the Blue Moon guards…… it’s her mate.

“What brings you here on my territory?” Alpha Katrina asks, while struggling to use her alpha voice it was quite difficult in her opinion with the way he’s observing her.

“I……umm….” He stutters which she finds quite adorable.

‘This is serious, my pack can’t know find out that he’s my mate just yet.’

“Well you’re lucky I’m in a good mood. So, I’ll let you go with a warning since you don’t seem like a threat.” The guards that brought him were giving their Alpha a look of disbelief. But she ignores them though normally she would punish them seeing as what they are doing is a sign of disrespect towards their superior. Besides she doesn’t owe them an explanation and like she mentioned earlier she’s in a good mood that can’t be ruined especially by her mate.

“Wait! Can we umm…...can I have a minute alone with you?” He asks while giving her a pleading look. Kat takes a moment to think about it then nods.

“You two may leave, he’s completely harmless and if he were to hurt me, I can handle it.” Kat orders through a pack link that is directed to the guards. They have a look on their faces as if they want to disobey but listen to her orders, so they don’t have to face her wrath.

“What would you like to say?” Kat asks as she leans on the edge of her desk while he stands a foot or two away from her.

“I…. umm……well I would like to get to know you better……seeing as you are……you know my mate.” He replies nervously stuttering.

‘Goddess this man is going to be the death of me.’

“Umm Beta Richards the two guards that were stationed by the waterfall found an intruder. The intruder is currently with the Alpha, I thought you should also be informed.” Gregory, one of the guards stationed in the pack house, informs the young Female Beta.

She nods then makes her way to Kat’s office. She knocks once before entering the room. And you will never guess what she finds on the other side of the door…… Katrina sitting on top of her desk with her arms and legs wrapped around some hot blonde making out like if they were to break apart the world would end.

They didn’t take notice of Casey when she opened the door, so she decides to be evil and scare them by slamming the door closed. The hot blonde jumps back with his face as red as a tomato. And as usual Kat is completely neutral but has a glint of pride in her eyes. Hmm what could that mean?

“Oops I’m sorry. Am I interrupting something?” Casey innocently asks. Blondie shakes his head but at the same time mutters a quiet “yes”, while Kat just gives her Beta/best friend a dirty look.

Casey faces towards blondie and ask, “And you are?”

“Dominic Torres, Beta of the Dark Crescent Pack.” He introduces while shaking her hand.

“Well Beta Torres care to explain to me why you’re randomly making out with my best friend?”

“Well you see…...it’s a really funny story. Hehe” He rubs his neck nervously, trying to blush yet fails miserably.

“Casey stop bluntly asking questions that are none of your business to know the answers to!” Kat yells.

“What? I’m just curious.” She innocently replies.

“Haven’t you heard the phrase curiosity killed the cat?”

“And satisfaction brought it back though you should know that cats have like 7 lives. But it doesn’t matter because we are werewolves so that doesn’t really apply to us.”

Kat rolls her eyes then replies, “He’s my mate. Dom this is my Beta, Casey Richards.”

“Oh my god!” Casey squeals so loud that a few guards stationed outside literally broke down the door thinking we were under attack. Of course, Kat yells at her yet again. But come on, how can she not be excited, she just recently found her mate. This is great.

Casey immediately demands for Dom to stay for dinner to get to know him better. Kat protests at first but Dom had already accepted the invitation and went to call his Alpha to let him know of his whereabouts. Casey took the opportunity to try and talk to Kat about what just happened before she came in. Of course, she doesn’t spare the details. In other words, she didn’t tell Casey squat.
