Grace's POV The rest of the afternoon passed in a haze of hyperawareness. Every shift in my chair sent a reminder through my body of what Hunter had done to me over his desk. Of what he'd promised to do again tonight. How rough and dominant he had been, closer to the dreams I had been having about him. I hadn't been lying when I told him how much I had enjoyed it. I always got the feeling he was holding part of himself back from me, and I wasn't just talking about his love. I wasn't sure that would ever be mine. I tried to focus on work, emails, scheduling, the mundane tasks that usually grounded me.
