Max's POV I hadn't seen Hunter since Helena's funeral. Even though we were business partners on this massive deal to acquire old man Thompson's company, Hunter had been handling things remotely through his second-in-command. Can’t say I blamed him, losing your wife in a car crash isn't exactly something you bounce back from in a couple of weeks. When I walked into Sinclair Enterprises, I knew I was just using business as an excuse. The real reason I was here was Grace. She had just lost her sister as well. Hunter didn't know it yet, but he was better off without his b***h of a wife. Not like I would tell him that. He would see it for himself soon enough. I just hoped he didn't put her on a pedestal now she was dead like some people did, forgetting the flaws and wanting to remember loved
