"What if I do mean them?" He stared at me for a long moment, then groaned and buried his face in my neck. "You're going to be the death of me." I laughed again, feeling lighter than I had in days. Rafael lifted his head and kissed me deeply, possessively. "I won't forget you said that," he whispered against my lips, his voice full of promise.
