Besides, how could she possibly escape carrying a newborn infant, with nothing to feed him, no way to protect him from the cold? Keysha dressed quickly, completely oblivious to the time. It could be eleven at night or five in the morning. All she knew was that this would be the last day of her life if she did not flee.
