Awakening Of The Element Child

“Mysterious person?” Julien repeated sharply then chuckled. “According to witnesses, the beam of light was so rare and potent that it even surpassed mine. No one in this kingdom should be capable of such a feat! Even though there is a person who could, I should have known by now, because I can detect almost anybody possessing a high amount of Cultivation energy.” Julien, an element‑user and healer‑type cultivator possessing two forms of cultivation. He had tried countless times to perfect the beam of light technique himself, and it had never traveled far. “Those pythons weren’t ordinary creatures. They were high‑grade monsters, capable of devouring an entire kingdom. How did they cross the barriers that protect Sinclair?” he mused aloud, more to himself than to Fiona. Fiona stood silent, unable—or perhaps unwilling—to answer. With a sharp sigh, Julien waved a hand dismissively. “You may go, Fiona. All that matters is that my son is safe—for now, and please don't ever take my son anywhere else apart from the palace premises. I have no doubt those creatures will try to return. I’m not sure who defeated them, but I’m certain the threat isn’t gone for good, and will surely return for a rematch.” Fiona bowed deeply and departed, returning to Jordan’s room. She scooped him up and placed him on her lap. “I knew you were special, just like your mother,” she said softly, rubbing her fingers on his plump cheeks. Jordan gazed up at her, tried to speak, and responded with a few babbling sounds. Just then, the translucent screen suddenly appeared before Jordan, floating in mid air, its text glowing and clear. Host has successfully completed the first task. Host will be rewarded with the Red Magical healing Potion. Jordan read through the message until an image of a red liquid in a glass appeared, followed by another prompt: Items will be stored in the System Store and can be equipped and used at the host’s discretion. Host’s current level has increased by zero point one percent. Host has unlocked the Element‑Type Cultivation. Current element type Cultivation Level: Level 1. Jordan pondered in thought as he stared and read through the messages, puzzling over their meaning. He didn’t understand cultivation, nor the potion being offered. Then, as suddenly as it appeared, the translucent screen vanished from view. King Julien instructed his army to remain vigilant, fearing further attacks. Yet months passed with no sign of danger. Two years went by, and still, peace held. By this time, Jordan had grown and was kept within the castle walls, barred from any interaction with the outside world, nor the main town of Sinclair. He was placed under the tutelage of a teacher named Ethan, a veteran cultivator proficient in elemental energy. In a room, highly arranged in royalty, sat Jordan gasping in frustration, eyes narrowing and Ethan stood, lecturing him on the basics of Cultivation. “Hmm, this is remarkable, Ryan,” Ethan said, adjusting his glasses as he watched the boy read. “Your reading is fluent, and the way you learn very fast is unlike any child I have ever come across. Since you’ve mastered literacy, our next lesson will focus on controlling the fire you’ve inherited as an element‑type cultivator.” “You mean this?” Jordan responded, raising a hand. Suddenly, a flame appeared, burning steadily in the palm of his hand. Ethan’s jaw fell slack. “Incredible, Ryan… you conjured that flame as if it were second nature. At your age, that level of mastery is almost… unfathomable.” Ethan shook his head, brushing his glasses back into place, unable to hide the astonishment on his face.
