Mrs. Martinez being Kind to Saanvi

1936 Words
The next day she woke up early and got dressed. She was ready to go to Jared's parents' house. When she got out of her room, Jared was also getting out of his room. They sleep in different rooms, and they won't be nervous if their parents find out, especially since they are only living together temporarily. "Are you going to work?" Jared asked her. "Wait, where do you work? We've been together for over a month, but until now I still didn't know where you work." She just smiled at him while putting her finger on her lips. "Secret." She winked at him, and then laughed, causing the young man to shake his head. "Anyway, I don't have work today..." because I was absent, she added, but only in her mind. "I have to go somewhere." "Oh... You're going out with your friends?" She shook her head. "No, I'm going out with your mom." She laughed a little when she saw the shock on his face. "What? Why?" Jared suddenly panicked. She just shrugged. "I didn't know either. She also answered me as a secret when I asked her." She looked at her hand when he held one of her hands. "Saanvi, can you please not tell mommy about Miles coming here or about our relationship? Can you keep that a secret?" She squeezed his hand, and smiled. "Of course, Jared. You can count on me. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. Nothing that happens in this house can leave the house." He breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Saanvi. You're such a good friend." He smiled at him. "Alright, I'm leaving. Maybe your mommy is waiting for me." "I'll take you there?" Jared offers her, but she refuses. "No, thank you, Jared. I will be fine." She patted his shoulder. She was about to leave when he called her, so she stopped, and turned her head to the young man. He smiled at her. "Thank you, Saanvi." She smiled at him, and gave him a thumbs up. "No problem." She winked at him, causing him to laugh. "GOOD morning. Where is mom?" Saanvi asked the maid who opened the door of the house. "Miss Saanvi, it's you. Mrs. Martinez is still in the room but she's going to see you soon. She said to wait for her in the living room." She thanked her. "Would you like coffee or juice?" "Just coffee. Thank you." She nodded, and left her in the living room. She sat on the sofa and waited for Mrs. Martinez. Soon, the maid returned with her coffee. She thanked her again. She took the coffee, and drank. Her stomach will feel warm, especially since she hasn't had breakfast yet. She was embarrassed because Mrs. might wait a long time. She didn't want to do things that would make her angry. "Saanvi, Dear..." She immediately returned the cup to the table when she heard Mrs. Martinez's voice. "It's still too early for you to come. I'm sorry for keeping you waiting." She smiled at her and kissed her cheek when she got close to her. "It's fine for me to wait instead of you, Mom." She cupped her face and smiled. "You're so thoughtful, my dear." They sat on the sofa. "Anyway, have you eaten yet?" She smiled awkwardly, and scratched her cheek. "It's embarrassing to tell, but not yet." "Then join me." She invited her to the dining table. She saw the servants already preparing the meals. "Is Mr. Martinez, and Chairman Martinez gonna join us?" "Oh, silly child. You can call him daddy and Chairman Martinez..." She stopped speaking and then laughed. "You can still call him Chairman." She laughed again. "Anyway, they're both on a business trip right now." "Is that why you called me because you didn't have anyone with you?" Mrs. Martinez laughed. "You have at some point in that." They sat down, and started taking food. "I just want to be with you. We haven't even been together since you married my son. I just want to know you better, Dear." "It's not necessary. We know it's only temporary." She was stunned when she held her hand. "Don't be like that, Saanvi. Even if it's only for a while, you're now one of my family, you're my daughter too. Especially since I see you're a kind child." She just smiled. Why is she this kind to her? "Anyway, today is our day." She caressed her cheek. "Mother and daughter day," she said, then smiled. She felt something in her heart, it was like as if someone caressed her heart because of the kindness she had been shown to her. In her whole life, she only felt this way now from a mother she had never experienced before. Saanvi grew jealous of Jared because he has loving parents, especially his mother. Before they could even start eating, Casper arrived. "Good morning, Mom." He kissed his mother's cheek, and looked at her. "Oh, I didn't know we had a beautiful visitor. Nice to see you again, Saanvi. You haven't changed. You're still beautiful." Casper flinched when his mother squeezed his waist. "Stop it, Casper. You know that's your brother's wife and you're flirting with her." "What? What are you talking about flirting, Mom?" He was surprised by the question. She couldn't help but laugh at the young man's face. Because he looks innocent but he's not. "I'm not flirting with Saanvi. Am I right, Saanvi?" He looked at her and winked. "And besides, there is nothing wrong with my dealings with Saanvi, especially since we know that the two of them will break up anyway." Mrs. Martinez just shook her head because of her child being naughty. "Even so, Casper, she's still your brother's wife, so behave yourself." She looked at her. "Please be patient with my son, Saanvi." "It's okay, Mommy." She smiled. Casper sat down in the chair in front of her. "Anyway, why are you here, Saanvi?" She was about to answer when he spoke again, "Let me guess, you're here because you miss me, right? I just knew it! You have a crush on me." He winked at her, causing her to laugh. "Stop that, Casper." Mrs. Martinez answered because Casper wouldn't let her answer. "Saanvi is not here for you. I sent her because we are both going shopping." "Oh, can I come?" he asked with excitement on his face. "No!" Casper's smile disappeared when his mother answered. "You can't come with us because Saanvi and I are the only ones who can go shopping. Just the two of us, girl bonding." He frowned. "It's a shame. I can come with you, Mom," he insisted. "No is a no, Casper. Don't force yourself." She just laughed because of Casper's face, and the young man couldn't do anything. AS Mrs. Martinez said she took her for a shopping trip to the mall. She couldn't count anymore how many times she had refused the lady because of the amount she spent on her, but she couldn't do anything because she still insisted. She was already ashamed because she didn't know how much it had cost her. She bought a lot of clothes, shoes, and some jewelry for her. "Doesn't this seem like a lot, Mom?" She showed the bags that she was carrying while the other bags were held by the two bodyguards who were with them. "I don't know if I can wear all of these.." "Oh, Saanvi. wear all of those because I bought them for you. I'm really going to sulk if you don't use them." She just smiled even though she was shy. "Thank you so much for this, Mom. Even though Jared and I won't be staying long, you still bought a lot for me." She stared at her. "This should be for Ashley, and not for me." "Why do you always think that you and Jared won't last long? I've noticed that you always talk about that stuff." She stopped walking, and looked at her. She was always really impressed on his mind that it had been just a contract between her and Jared. "Because that's the truth. That thing is always on my mind." "Oh, Saanvi..." She caressed her cheek. "I'm sad about your situation, but you know, maybe one day Jared will love you, that's why you don't have to break up anymore." She was surprised by what she said. "W-What? What do you mean, Mom? I thought you wanted Ashley for Jared?" "I'll admit it, I also like Ashley, but I also like you, Saanvi, because you're kind and sweet. I see that you and Jared get along well." She smiled at her, but in her mind she and Jared were only getting along because of their agreement, and their secret. Even if Ashley comes back, everything won't be okay, especially since she sees in Jared that as the days go by, the young man will have the courage to fight for Miles. She just hoped that her sister wouldn't get hurt in the upcoming problem. She was stunned to see Jared not far away from them. He is with Miles. Her eyes widened at what she saw. "Saanvi?" She turned to where she was looking but before she could see the two, she immediately grabbed her arm. "Let's go there, Mom. I'm a little hungry.." She smiled at her. "Sure, dear." She breathed a sigh of relief because the lady didn't see the two because if it happened, it would be a real mess. IT WAS night when they returned to their house. While they were traveling home, she immediately texted Jared that she and his mother were going home, and he couldn't bring Miles home. It's good to be careful. When they got home, Jared was still not home. "Just put them here," she said to the bodyguards who were carrying the bags. It was placed in the living room.. "Jared isn't here yet?" asked Mrs. Martinez. "Not yet, Mom. He told me that he had to finish something at the office, so he would go home at night," her alibi. The old lady nodded. "Sit down first, Mom. Would you like some juice?" "Yes please." "Wait a minute." She immediately went to the kitchen and poured juice into the glass. She immediately returned to the living room and gave it to the lady. She drank the juice and looked around. "I noticed that you don't have a maid here. It can't be just the two of you here, and there is no one serving you or Jared." "There's no need, Mom. Jared and I are fine, just the both of us." It would have been better if she and Jared were the only people in the house so no one knew about Miles coming home. "You should better hire a maid when Ashley lives here." "Are you sure? You might find yourself in trouble here, cleaning, cooking. I don't want your parents to think that I'm making you suffer." She smiled at her. She sat beside her, and held her hand. "They can't think of that, Mom, because you're so kind to me. Also, I'm not having a hard time. It's just fine that Jared and I are alone." She couldn't stop hugging her. "You don't know how thankful I am to you because you are so kind to me. So thank you very much, Mom." "There's nothing to be thankful for, Dear." She hopes that even if she and Jared break up, her treatment of her will not change.
