"How's Dianne?"
Chased asked who just got home. Halos sabay lang kaming nakarating. Nauna lang siyang pumasok because my shoes decided to give me a hard time removing them today.
"She said she's okay."
I answered, and he nodded.
Hindi pumasok si Dianne for the whole day, and I haven't seen her. Chase told me what happened. I want to see her terribly, but I refuse to go. I know what she's going through. Whether I like it or not, she loved Chase for a long time. Dianne needs time, and I respect that.
"Chase."
"What?"
"Why did you wait that long?"
I asked.
"Huh?"
"Kay Dianne. Ang tagal mo nang nanliligaw sa kaniya."
It's been years.
Let's be honest. Not all could wait that long. Unless you're just one of the backups of the guy, or you're Dianne.
