Sitting inside the conference room alexandro was getting pissed off. he has sent an invitation to Mr adriana and was expecting him sharp at 4 p.m. But, it's already 4:45 p.m and there is no trace of adriana or any of his employees. " Is he coming to one of alexandro's offices from Greenfield on foot? Why isn't he here yet?" he shouted at his PA who almost peed on his pant by the loud voice.

He replied having an awkward smile," Mr adriana's PA Aziz just contacted me. They will be here in a minute." " If they fail to be here in a minute then I will fire you for sure," alexandro threatened his PA who just gulped hard. A few seconds passed when Aziz entered the conference room. Bowing his head he greeted alexandro who wasn't interested in all these unnecessary formalities.

He looked behind in search of Mr adriana but found no one. " Seems like a tortoise is Mr adriana's soul animal," alexandro taunted chuckling which Aziz didn't like. He will just say something when he noticed alexandro standing up from his couch having a stunned expression.

His eyes were literally bulging out from his sockets and Aziz wondered did he see some kind of ghost. He turned behind and found gabriela who just entered the conference room. alexandro was rooted in his place like a robot after seeing gabriela standing right in front of him. For a few seconds, he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

He felt like he was dreaming. He pinched his hand and when the pain stimulated his brain cells he understood that it is no dream. gabriela was really standing in front of him. But, still, for surety, he looked carefully at the woman.

alexandro looked at gabriela from head to toe and was completely startled. gabriela was wearing white colour pants with a white colour casual shirt & a coat. " Mr Romano, meet Miss gabriela monetez. Actually, Mr adrian couldn't come for some unfortunate reasons. That's why he sent his deputy. I hope you won't mind," Aziz introduced gabriela to alexandro who was still looking at gabriela with shocked eyes.

Forwarding her hands, gabriela said smiling," Nice to meet you, Mr romano." he gulped looking at her hand and diverted his eyes at her. He searched for a shocked expression on her face but there was nothing. She was looking extremely quiet.

" Gabr............." Before he could pronounce her name properly she said politely," You can call me darling like you always do." alex was speechless and wasn't understanding what he should do now. His mind was still trying to understand if it was real or not. Keeping her eyes on alex, gabriela asked," Can I talk to Mr romano alone?" alexandro's PA and Aziz looked at him for permission who was still staring at gabriels.

She again asked the same question and this time he nodded his head in the positive. No sooner had Aziz and alex's PA left the room than she rushed towards alexandro like a storm. Holding his face between her palms she smashed her lips on his lips and he just froze in his place.

alexandro's mind went completely blank and he felt his blood turning cold like ice. Shutting her eyes she tried to push her tongue inside his mouth but he wasn't responding. A tear rolled down her eyes and she tried to enter his mouth again but still, there was no response from him. He was behaving like a corpse without any movement. A few seconds later, alex also closed his eyes feeling her tears touching his skin. Slowly he parted his lips and taking this chance she pushed her tongue inside his mouth devouring his taste. Gradually his hands rose to hold her shoulder and the moment he will just touch her, Adrenaline rushed through his whole system and he kissed her passionately. Just in a microsecond, he pulled away from her and took a few steps backwards. " This is wrong, gabby not in my office what if my wife walks in" he shouted wiping his lips with the back of his hands. Bursting into tears gabby said," i love you and you always put nicole first, what about me and my needs alex. I shouldn't have ended things with you." "

So, it took 2 hours for you to realize, huh!!" he growled and gabby flinched. She closed her eyes when he said having a disturbed expression," gabby, don't try to start that is over." Saying that he didn't just come out of the room, he left the office hurriedly. Getting inside the car he started driving though he has no idea where is he going now. She noticed that he was trying to scoop rice with the spoon and put it inside his mouth. But, there is no rice on his plate and he had no clue about it. He was doing what he was supposed to do.

Since he returned from the office nicole could feel that something was bothering him. After returning home he didn't utter a single word to her. A disturbed expression was coating his whole face that isn't unnoticed by nicole. She thought to ask him but refrain from doing so thinking he might be tense about office matters. After dinner, alex returned to his room and went directly to the balcony. Looking at the sky he started thinking about gabriela. Specifically, her crying face was bothering him too much. He was still looking at the sky when nicole stood right behind him. Hugging him from behind she questioned," Hubby, are you worried about something?"

Removing her hands from his chest he went back to the room and laid down there silently. nicole also followed him and wanted to know what happened to him suddenly.

Getting up from the bed he growled in frustration. He knew that he has f****d up and this time nicole was hurt by his words.

But, first, he has to handle gabriela's matter.he called her. After a few rings, she picked up the call and his mind again became chaotic hearing her voice. " I want to talk to you," he replied recalling today's incident with gabriela.
