Alexander’s POV
Ever since Adrian had come to rile me up, I’ve been in a sour mood and I couldn’t focus on work anymore so I decided to take an early night and go home to rest my head.
“Eric, come to my office,” I said into the phone as I rang for his office. Less than a minute later, he walked into my office and sat down.
“You called for me,” he simply said and I was both happy and shocked that he wasn’t teasing me or saying something stupid.
“Take over here and round things up,” I commanded him as I stood up and made my way to the door.
“Okay boss. I’ll get on it,” he replied without questioning me.
Weird, I thought to myself but I honestly didn’t have the strength for him. I walked to my car and got in before the driver started the engine and we headed to the house.
