Maya’s POV
This was it. The moment I had been thinking about yet dreading all day long.
The party was finally over and most of the people had already left, the time for us to head home had come. This was going to be our first night together as husband and wife and the thought of it sent chills all through my body.
I had read enough books and watched enough movies to know about all what usually happened on a couple’s first night together and I had been dreading it. I tried so hard not to think about it during the wedding and then the reception because I had something to distract me but now that I had nothing to distract me, that was all I could think about.
