The day dragged on like a slow moving car that had a fault with its engine, each minute was heavier than the last and the thoughts of Alex still swirled around in my head. I could no longer focus on on the happenings in my environment and I walked around the house aimlessly, trying to distract myself.
I walked into the library and picked a book I had always wanted to read, hoping it would make my mood be better just by reading it. But no matter how much I tried, I just couldn’t stop thinking about last night.
