Ethan was more serious than his brother; his anger was greater and uncontrollable. Liam was the more practical brother; he liked to think things through instead of acting on blind emotion. They were two sides of a coin, and both belonged to me. The three of us descended the stairs for dinner; the smell of roast chicken, carrots, and mashed potatoes filled the air. Dinner at Bruma's house was anything but formal. Bruma sat in a dining room armchair, a plate of food in her lap as she smiled at the three of us. Liam and Ethan headed to the kitchen before me, leaving me alone with Bruma. A gentle smile had formed on her face as she looked at me. I cherished every moment I had spent with her.
