Ethan's POV Upon waking up, I wasn't surprised to see that Sussan was still sleeping. She must have been exhausted, and she truly needed that rest, not only because her body demanded it but also due to her emotional state. My brother's a*******n had left her shattered, and I feared that if we couldn't rescue him in the next few days, it might end up killing her. I could only hope that with the training she was about to receive from the Centennial Moon, we would be able to free Liam more easily. But how much improvement could I realistically expect from her in just two days? Though I didn't have high hopes for such a short time, I had to at least appear confident for her. I got up quietly, making no noise, like a cat stalking its prey, and left the room without Sussan barely noticing.
