Why hasn’t Raelyn called yet? She usually goes to bed before I do, but I still haven’t heard of her.
And it’s not like I’m needy. Okay, maybe I am.
But I’m managing far better than most would being away from their mate. This is making my wolf very anxious and me very frustrated.
It’s not Raelyn’s fault. She doesn’t understand the mate bond, but it’s becoming harder and harder not to turn into some stalker and give up my title and just follow her around like a damn puppy.
My wolf wants to claim her so badly, sink his teeth into her neck and mark her. And I get it. I want nothing more than to make her mine, but I value my mate too much to force her into doing anything she’s not ready for.
I, am, however, going to call her. For her and for my sake.
I need to know she’s okay
